Well the good news is that this is a NeatherRealm fighting game so they offer extensive single player content. If if you aren't great at fighting games you can have a lot of fun with their titles

Damien killed Dick by accident.
Which was pretty early if I remember correctly.

I never played the first game but I might give this a try. Pretty funny that Darkseid of all characters is a pre-order bonus.

Do it. I tried it with PS+ as well, never played a NRS game before and was a fighting game scrub, but this made me fall in love with the genre and now I2 is one of the games im most hyped for.

Characters die and come back to life in comics all the time.
In fact, dying and coming back to life is one of Joker's specialties.
They'll figure something out.

I don't understand why people shit so much on EA or Activision when WB is the worst fucking bunch of greedy scoundrels when it comes to DLC practices.

Game looks great but no thanks, this crap is something no one should support, no matter how many important characters they hold hostage.

Joker rarely dies in comics and cartoons. If the Joker is back it means the main DC universe is coming back to help out the Injustice universe like in the last game. Also Joker wasn't a popular character in tournaments.

I'm so tired of WB's DLC shit. It's a vicious cycle: if people are hype for the game they're gonna pre-order anyway which makes it look like withholding characters is "working" so they're gonna keep doing it. MKX was a massive success with a ton of pre-orders and they can go "if Goro caused that (which he didn't) then Darkseid should be massive". It's shit.
 
Man, I hate they are making you get the digital edition for the 3 bonus characters.

Pretty sure the guy has died more than any other character in all forms of media. Comics, video games, tv shows, cartoons, ect

I will never understand comments like this but yes. You should also read comics if you have time they are pretty good. And considering game is follow up of Comic and Game together.
 
These character designs are abysmal. Pretty smart to have a pre-order character though as games seem to heavily drop in price after release more and more frequently.
 
As one of the very characters who wasn't a mass-murdering asshat in the original game, it seems a shame that Batman seems to have already started to sell-out on his principals in the sequel.

He is dead gameverse or comicverse.
