I really don't understand the pricing. The digital deluxe edition is $80 -- that's $20 for 3 characters and a premium skin. That's more expensive than MKX's DLC. It appears that you can "save" $20 by purchasing the $100 bundle, but it's $60 if you want to buy the three character passes individually.

CP1 ($20) - 3 characters, Power Girl alt
CP2 ($20) - 3 characters, John Stewart alt
CP3 ($20) - 3 characters, Reverse-Flash alt

Ok, yeah, that's not as good a value, but not too far from the norm if character are $5 a-la-carte. There's also that extra color effect, whatever that is.

Change your character's colour basically. Not unlike the standard colour change options that are prevalent in fighting games, only this is more like an RPG system where there's a specific slot for colour changes.

I have to scratch my head when I see people bashing the DCEU movies in here when the Injustice games/comics are drowning in the same juvenile, grimdark hero fighting hero crap. The games will be fun but the storyline in this series is awful.

See, this is how I know you HAVEN'T read the Injustice comics, because while there certainly are some truly dark moments, the comic is also bursting with humor, wacky situations, and inspired team-ups quite frequently.

Harley Quinn alone is worth the price of admission for the whole Injustice series.

Yeah I remember reading about Loot boxes myself awhile back but I still think that can fall into the but once skip all grind option.

Before you buy that Ultimate Edition to get all the DLC characters, remember that two of them will be Spawn and Sub-Zero.

Im wondering if Lex Luthor will be one, seeing as the LL in the Injustice reality died on the fight against Superman's regime.

Right now he's a background character that does a stage transition, though that doesn't mean he won't be a future DLC character like how Martian Manhunter was later made into a character.

If Rain is anything to go by, (he's the best example of this in recent memory I can think of) they'll either put them in the main roster (which they nearly did with Rain in MKX but didn't) or not use them at all.

Yes, but sometimes they find a way to bend that rule like with Triborg in MK X.

All in all, I think the roster is great. You've got your standard batwankery, the secondary-fan favorites (saving the primary fan-favorites as DLC for maximum money), slight movie/tv pandering, and I think it all balances out well. Saddest cuts are probably Lex Luthor and Sinestro -- they weren't fun to play at all though sorry

I'm liking the roster a lot, and am more than happy to lose those two and some of the suspected others for the new characters we've seen and are rumored.
