Haha. Now I see why people keep talking about her jaw. But still I love her design of the costume, I think its great.

Also, whatever happened to the Opening Cinematic of Injustice that we were supposed to see?

Gamestop still is going to reveal it through their join the party campaign thing. People stopped face book linking because we assume the bar is time based now. So...we will get it sometime I guess. Maybe next week?

I just came here to point out that I think Raven's face is the result of an accident in rescaling her model at some point. Two minutes in photoshop and I found that her head looks to be the result of a slight vertical stretch and a width stretch done without masking the head off on the model to protect it from being scaled along with the body.

This is just speculation mind you, but this happened to me in college on a model I had sculpted the face on first. Made the model a bit wider and taller and then I had a similar problem.

I don't know if a quick rescaling of this model would interfere with facial mapping for spoken animations since it may adversely effect things like mapping points on the face to the proper UV and Polygon coordinates. I could fix the model easily enough as could any modeler really. The only thing holding it back would be if it messed up facial animations and would force a complete redo on those animations with new coordinates. I think you can do this without that problem, but I'm not 100% on that.

Anyhow just thought I'd show my mockup that was a simple rescaling of Raven's head. I seriously think that a modeler minor goof during a scaling caused this.

Interesting, but honestly, knowing NRS's past, I think they just like the look of more manly woman.

Very rarely have they have had a feminine looking character.

I'm gonna run Wonder Woman through on this since I know she looks super manly and I know they really broadened her shoulders at some point.

Yeah, I don't think NRS messed up with Raven, that's just how they designed her to look. Your "fixed" model's head looks too small for her body or something. It's different, but it isn't really any better.

I'm okay with the exaggerated proportions of her head, what with it being a game based on comics. They probably wanted her features to be more noticeable under the hood.

Huh...appears that Wonder Woman has a different in game model than her cutscene model. Watch her outro versus Harley in the Battle Arena. Even the shield is different than her fight model's. In game fight model Wonder Woman is way different.

Ah. Okay thanks! Hopefully it'll pop up around this week, maybe even tomorrow? :o

They need to show more DeathStroke.

Ok Boon, we know Batman is in the game. We get the point.

I'm hoping the Black Adam trailer will be similar to Doomsdays and Ravens, and have BA fight Deathstroke.

Ravens trailer made me want to play Catwoman more then her lol.

So far the only two characters left who haven't had a "Battle Arena" style video are Nightwing and Deathstroke so I would expect to see both eventually. Granted, They used Shazam in Doomsday's and we had already seen him so I guess we'll see.

That'd would be something at least.

And yeah, Catwoman is gonna be getting some play time from me. Rarrr!

I didn't realize... Game is coming pretty soon! :D

So, not only will Robin (Damian Wayne) be appearing on the cover of Injustice #5 in May, but he also appears in the 10th issue of the prequel comic releasing tomorrow. I'd love for him to be playable, honestly.

Same, along with a cameo of Batcow:

...but alas Boon and NRS are not cool that way =/
Incidently enough he's the ONLY Batman character I'd ever be interested in in this game.
Heck if he's in, I may be getting the game day 1 @3@

Speaking of which...am I the only one who invisions him having a 'British' accent?

New article:

My takeaways:

Mark Hamil confirmed to NOT be an alternate voice for a Joker alt.

Starfire, Beast Boy, and Terra will be in the game in some way...

Character reveals going forward will probably be people that are less well known to the mainstream. (Ares, Black Adam, and Captain Cold or Killer Frost would all qualify)

The article says its POSSIBLE they might appear.

Considering it's Adam Urbano saying it I am pretty sure that means they will be in in some manner. Why else would they even be mentioned? NRS knows what they are doing at this point. Yeah they aren't super duper confirmed but I think it is good enough to say they will have some sort of presence, even if it is just a cameo.

Excited but at the same time nervous.
Hope they don't appear in the story just to be killed off / serve as motivation for the playable Titans.

Ok Boon, we know Batman is in the game. We get the point.

He is just showing more costumes options and who better to show them off than Batman.
how many is that so far?
Injustice
New 52
Arkham City/Asylum
Blackest Night
possible Flashpoint

I'd probably buy TDKR & INC alts if they sold them.

Not sure, I'm tempted to read that series, but I just recently bought Birds of Prey--so I'm being wary of my choices for the next series I should pick up.

I heard it got a lot better recently. Again, I don't read it so I am not in a position to confirm nor deny that.

Damian's costume in tomorrow's new digital issue is different from the one he wears on the cover of the upcoming 5th retail issue. Why would a non-playable character have two costumes designed for him?

Just saying...

I wonder how obscure NRS will be willing to get with the DLC characters. Obviously they can take that risk in the main game so that the masses will buy it for the big names, while the fans are thrown a bone, but when it actually comes to paying on a per character basis...

This is gonna sound silly so bear with me: Do they refer to him as Damian in the comic as well? My guess is that in that cover it was a 'place holder' of sorts before they decided with that outfit. The one on the left looks closer to Tim's Robin outfit.

Yep, it's Damian. Mentioned as such on DC's website - Link. Interesting thing is he's on Superman's side.

Similarly interesting - the synopsis for the 6th collection:
Batman recovers from a devastating tragedy with only Catwoman at his side, and then goes underground to start developing the resistance against Superman’s new world order

The solicitations for upcoming issues of the Injustice: Gods Among Us prequel series suggest that Damian
joins Superman in his fight, arguably explaining the change of costume. This much is clear from the cover of #5 alone.
I'm adamant that Damian is not going to be playable, as based on the solicitations, it appears likely
that he dies. This is more of a reasonable expectation to believe given the recent events of Batman, Inc. #8 and Tom Taylor's warning that not every character who appears in the comic will actually survive, to appear in the game.

The Joker
has also died in the comic
and yet is playable in the game so even if it happens to Damian (which isn't a sure thing yet, just a guess) it wouldn't exactly prevent him from being playable, especially if he is important to the story. We already know part of the in-game story takes place during the time depicted in the comic while part (assuming the majority) is after the Regime and Insurgency have already been established.

Of course it's just conjecture, but then again, so is suggesting he's playable based on his two costumes. Outside of this appearance, there has been no amount of promotion or teasing to even suggest Damian's involvement whatsoever. The solicitations give a legitimate reason grounded within the story for his change of costume. No one knows how or why the Joker
is still around, or even if he is involved in the story, 'post-death'.
