What is bad about a rhyming, arthurian speaking, demon with super powers? Etrigan even does the two dudes fused together thing a lot better than Firestorm does (granted I haven't read everything ever with either character so I'll just say most of the time).
Etrigan also looks cool while Firestorm is the lamest of lame (and really, I tried to find a picture that made him look better):

Firestorm looks like a badass everytime you see him. His head is on fire and he's not just a fire dude. He can transmute any non living material into ANYTHING.
Plus Etrigan looks like a trollish hunchback of notredame in a longsleeved female superhero costume. I mean he looks like a fleaman...plus cmon dude put some pants on. That looked terrible on Robin it aint any cooler on a demon to have the gymnast tights with no legs look. It just looks bad. I'm betting I could redesign him to look badass though. He has a good gimmick, but geez the execution is so screwed with that legless tights and cape look.

Well I think Firestorm always looks like a rooster with its head on fire. But whatever, I get it. some people like Firestorm and some people don't. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Personally I like some non-humans on the roster to spice things up and I like the way Etrigan talks. If we need to have another human elemental guy I want Static.

Etrigan's kind of a crappy character. I think Garth Ennis was the last person to use him decently, but that's Garth Ennis. He's goofy like that.

Best part about that frame data is unlike strategy guides that eventually become obsolete that data will always be viable if they patch because they will update the in game frame information as well in the move list during such patches.

and people can stop complaining about the game being patched, because they'll always know the stats of everything in the game, they can just check it again every time they train

At this point with so much news on the game should there be a new thread outside of the battle arena? Roster, modes, inputs, control options, stage options, and more have come up. I'd really like for more folks to see the news that arcade mode is WAY bigger in this. In addition to the enormous story mode arcade mode has more than the standard ladders. You could do an all hero arcade mode, and all villain one, and they even mentioned a poison ladder where you bleed out the whole time. The amount of single player replayability options in this is huge right now with the unlockables, ladders, story, and missions plus its got a ton of FGC drool worthy stuff too now.

Etrigan looks a lot better as he does now, within Demon Knights.
The main issue being is that he no longer speaks in rhyme. I guess they thought it sounded corny.
Firestorm has not changed his look very much in his Fury of Firestorm book.

his book has been cancelled for a little while now
Demon Knight's setting is in Arthurian times right? I think that era is before he was promoted to being a rhyming demon. Also, I think Blue Devil is the current demon who is forced to rhyme.
As for Static, his comics don't do we'll as a lone series. He needs to be a part of a known team.

Anyways, I would go to tournaments if I had the time but it's pretty tough for me to devote that much time each day to the game to get good enough and then also devote the time to actually go out to them. I wish I could though because I love watching them and a few of my friends that do really enjoy it. As such I'm much more of a casual player though. Still enjoy these games a ton nonetheless and think all the people who actually commit the time necessary are awesome.
I don't read it so I don't really know. I really should though. I hear it's awesome.
By the way, it seems the new members of the justice league as of issue 18 are:

I mention this because we were just talking about some of these characters. At some point in time it seems that Black Lightening and Blue Devil have become partners. Black Lightening tells Batman that if he accepts one of them into the league, he will have to take the other as well.

Also, Constantine and Starfire are each getting their solo New 52 comics. Meaning any of those characters are possible from a marketing standpoint.
