Inquisitor, Czeck RPG similar to Divine Divinity, getting an English release!

viewtifulsub: Inquisitor will be sold in digital distribution only and we would like to get it to GOG and Steam - if they are interested in it. But nothing more specific yet. The GOG discussion takes place here and the Steam community group can be found here.

Ledsen: I've summarized all Czech and Slovakian reviews in my post here. As far as party goes, you start the game alone but you can recruit some characters to your party during the game - sometimes you will have to choose what character will be more useful to you since some characters don't see eye to eye with each other and won't join you until you dismiss someone else first. You can then direct your party members with some basic commands like Attack, Hold positions, Attack the target or Help me.

Pyrrhus: You can find more about magic on Inquisitor's website or in the Book of Magic that will accompany the game.

This game is absolutely beautiful and looks like something right up my alley. If it comes to Gog or Steam I'll definitely be picking it up.

Played about an hour of this game last night. My character is a thief on medium difficulty. Got access into the first little village and started talking to people. Lots of dialogue options!

Murder-mystery to start the game? Looks like they got inspiration from Ultima 7 :)

Gripes I have so far:
- Stamina goes away too fast during fights and replenishes too slow. Maybe as I level up, I can choose to regen stamina faster? Also, walking vs running isn't really all that different.
- No mini-map :(
- I can't tell if one weapon has advantages over another because they show no stats on the weapons.
- The music tracks sometimes just end, leaving me alone in the world with only ambient noises. I like the music though!

oh well, at least I don't have to eat food to stay alive
