And searching around, it seems he basis his research on outdated studies from the early to mid 20th century.
Oh, and Mercola, one of the pseudoscience giants, supports his ideas.

Run away, man.

Never thought I'd agree with this guy on anything ever.
 
I knew this was a Ray Peat thread before I clicked it. He has some good ideas, such as replacing polyunsaturated fats with saturated, but he's off his rocker. I would take anything he says with a huge grain of salt.

How hard is it to eat mostly veg, fruit and lean meat? It's the easiest diet in the world and demonstrably the healthiest.
