I don't think I've never seen anything as good as this. There are thousands of characters in the battle scenes and each character looks better than any of the models in DOA4/VF5!!! Even more amazing is how each character looks totally different!!! (unlike 99 Nights where character models are the same due to geometry instancing)

Quite a few RPGs announced already for the system then.

Those are just Sony's RPG's that they announced. There's several others from 3rd parties that were announced at TGS. There was a new Shin Megami Tensei announced, and Gust and Konami RPG. 17 RPG's in total announced for the PS3.

I really think all RPGs would work better, though this seems more like an Action RPG where the benefits would be less significant. Unless this game features a meld of Arx Fatalis or Drakan (spells) and Die By the Sword (combat) controls Oh shit...someone BETTER make a game like that for the Rev

On the second video, you can notice the short frame-rate drop when the main character performs the special slash attack. Still looks amazing though & I'd imagine it's still an early build. Kameo AM CRY. :lol
