Sooo one big thing no one has commented on (I dont think).. does this mean VR is finally getting it's own controller because of the lack of front facing light bar?

So it is real. Not feeling it for the reasons above.

Maybe its just these pics and the real thing is better, I'll wait and see.
 
Looks like controller from razer.
Haptic feedback, even when dont the best in steam controller is not that interesting. But steam controller can play midi files with vibrators !
 
The high contrast makes it a divisive design choice.
If they just made the bottom more gray, I think the overall ratio of opinion will be more positive.

Once again, I feel someone was paid to sabotage Sony from the inside. :)
 
I have kind of a mixed impression. I think the shape and size of the ds4 is perfect already so I'm kinda anxious about that top slope. Hope it still feels good.

And there better be an all black version..
 
I'm DualSensing expanded voice commands or some kind of digital assistant for PS5. That microphone likely won't be of much use in actual games.
 
I like it.

Copies the xbox controller more so that's a positive. Just praying it has a battery life that last longer than a wish.com electronic

I'll be honest, maybe they listen to all those Dualshock 4 third party controller.
 
I think the DS4 is the greatest controller ever made. And this one looks like a really nice evolution. This has actually gotten me really hyped for the new generation! Can't wait to see more now.

Was that confirmed already? Can anybody make an informed guess please?
 
Controller looks good but I've never really had problems with any of the controllers. You usually get used to them within a day or so if they have some type of odd design like the GC controller. Dualshock and Xbox type controllers are practically second nature for me nowadays.

All I wanna know is whether they improved the battery life.
 
I haven't seen a picture of the back. Does this thing have extra triggers like that DS4 add on they released a few months back?
 
Looks very space age, not sure if I like it or not yet, but I do like some of the changes.

This will give a lot of nods to the main console design I'm sure.

Although I love my controllers on white, so that's a massive plus for me, and those sticks have copied the Xbox, which is perfect.

So not sure, but mostly like it.

Now let's see how weird the console looks. I hope it's not black white, that will be a bit odd to look at.

Edit: just caught that the buttons have no colour. Odd choice.

Should have kept the DualShock name.

Does it have a headset jack still?

I guess the PS5 will also be white and black.

Love the design of this thing. If I could change one thing it would be the symmetric placement of the analogue sticks.

Sony should make an Asymmetric sticks version as an option and sell it separately.

But the sticks look the same as the dualshock 4?

An option fine but I've always preferred symmetrical and since the original they've kept it that way for a reason
