Stick to the vision of your games and the targeted audience. Dont fall into the trap of trying to everything to everyone because people will always complain trying to get a everyone to bend so they get a good job, car or house for as little as possible.

Put it this way, Audi cars are sweet. Luxury, cost a lot and aimed at the upper/middle class who have decent jobs. They all know it costs a decent penny and repairs and spare parts are probably double the cost of fixing a Civic.

But here is the real problem with all the people upset about the game, mainly gay and trans people. Were supposed to be a tolerant society, but very few know what tolerance is. Tolerance is putting up with something you dont like or agree with, which gay and trans people obviously are not doing at all. They are demanding others follow their standards and only do what they think is right. That isn't tolerance, that's facism. If they were as tolerant as they claim to be then they would have simply ignored the game and moved on. But no, they want things to be their way and content released they approve of.

Would I buy a trans murder simulator game? Or a gay bashing rts? Nope. But I wouldn't tell them they are wrong for creating the game they want. Just because i dont agree with it doesn't mean i have to let it effect me personally or that I have to pay attention to it.

All I want is for people to mind their own business and only involve themselves in things they enjoy.

THQ and Voidpoint have been some of my favorite gaming companies of the last few years and not because they make Resetera mad but because they are good companies that make good games. I hope people learn that making puritans mad will in no way negatively effect your company as long as you make your fans happy.
On that note anyone have a list of companies Resetera hates since apparently there seems to be a link between their anger and the quality of products a company makes.

I don't think this is about winning or losing at all, but figuring out the extent of the "two sides" strawman.
One side can get Final Fantasy VII (wait until we learn about the honeybee shitshow), Yakuza and Catherine censored by thousands of miles of distance just by glaring, and that tells everything about their reach. They can get games to self-censor before they hit the stores (ironically Ion Fury falls in that group). And, they can get away with not calling it censorship because censorship implies something wrong, and they can do no wrong.
The other side posts memes and sometimes carpet bombs reviews.
Whining always works for a group, never for the other.
For now they didn't censor anything, but they could do it later on if the leftist media machine gets fierce enough to hurt their bottom line (game being pulled etc.) and they will self-censor their future games anyway, to avoid controversy.
Whatever happened here is not because of whining though, but it did happen because this was the one time devs got tired of being played like tools.

It's cute to read people talking about "blackmail" when bad reviews due to wokeness have existed for years, and so has the practice of blacklisting a man and costing them their livelihood for not being woke enough.

The comments on reee regarding the de-censorship are strange. They constantly deem the Ogay joke to be bottom-of-the-barrel playground humour, pretending not to be offended anymore because the joke is rubbish anyway. But it's meant to be! A cheap pun done right is what it is. Change one letter from a well known brand into a cheap laugh at something else, involving some double entendre ideally. Slap it in the background and move on. It functions to set the tone. They don't even get it.

Heavens above if they ever read a copy of Viz, or even the Beano! So sad to see the world turning into the way Reee prescribe. It's inevitable I guess.

First off, I have met many gay people and one or two trans people. Most of them are not at all like this. Most of them want one thing: To be left alone and to live in peace. That's a fact. Yes, there are some of them who fall into the category you describe, but most are not. You would actually be surprised at how many of them are tired of the hyper woke left and feel that they are doing more harm than good, which is most certainly true.
