Here's something I threw together tonight. I've included three versions. One with all the pellets, one with no pellets for those who feel it's too cluttered and one where it's partially played (I may reduce the number of pellets on this one still).

Things I want to point out in the design:

- The pellets run in between the apps
- Blue box outlines are covered when there is an app there but if missing, it will fill in the spot to not make the grid look funny when icons don't fill the screen
- The bottom part of the screen fits the number of screens and spotlight icon nicely in between them
- The top area where the score would be has all your phone info

These are amazing but why do 80% of these show up as '?' boxes on my iPod touch safari? I mean I can click them and see the image, but it doesn't load automatically.

Nice, love the previews especially. Beautiful site, too bad they're not 960x640 (going off what you said), plus there aren't many walls to begin with. Will keep a tab on it.

The most frustrating part about this is that I have a bunch of really amazing backgrounds for my 3G that look like crap now, and I can't find the original artists who made the images to get a high-res version (since no one EVER gives credit to original artists on most of these background database pages)

Like, for example, I would quite like this vector art in high-res:

Can I find it? Nope. And it totally pisses me off.
So now I have to drag my ass through the entirety of deviantART to find stuff I like and hope I find whoever made this.

EDIT: Oh, and also, why is there no high-res version of this?
