Some of you made it sounds like the GC was the worst since since Xmen Last Class, I wonder if the reactions would be more forgiving if you people didnt know this wasnt made by ILM.

It was just very noticeable on the Vanilla Coke iron man suit. There wasnt much fine detail.

whatever, reminds me of those who said John Carter looked fake, I'm always surprised, it,entertains me anyway.

I loved John Carter. Lol.

You honestly dont think this scene looks kinda off?:

Awful trailer, featuring a poor man's Bane voice with silly dialogue. "Heroes. There is no such thing."

Also, why is there a Paramount logo? I thought Disney bought up the distribution rights for this?

Who is the guy in the American Iron Man armor? Also do we know if this movie has anything to do with
nanotechnology in any way?

Can we at least agree that the action scene with rescue mid-air, and destruction of Tony's house look great?

The destruction of Tony's house is what I would have expected from ILM, honestly. On the other hand, the shot of Rhodeypatriot landing on the sidewalk, and the shot of the new suit with the "one hand on the floor" pose seemed to have some blurriness that I associate with rough CGI.

CG doesn't bother me, and they've got plenty of time in post to hammer out any problems that exist.

Editing was definitely off, but the footage looks pretty good. I'm excited and have total faith in Black to deliver something great.

poor man's Bane voice

boy I sure am glad that they shot and produced all of this between TDKR's release and now

I loved John Carter. Lol.

this looks totally ok. The wobble even has a practical feel to it. When it comes to realism it looks as good as it could look by any vissual effects house today. Let's not act as if ILM's work (as wonderful as it is) was ultra realistic. It's still CGI.

It would make sense if all of the phase 2 films are happening at the same time. Thor doing his thing in Asgard, Cap off doing whatever happens in Winter Soldier. Hulk....doing yoga in the alps...

Hmmm I guess.
You would think Hawkeye, BlackWidow or Hulk could still be available though.

I agree it looks "off", but not because of bad CG, it's because it's a quick cut taken out of context. The suit in that shot is a physical prop, I guarantee it.

Black Widow is rumored to be with Cap in Cap 2, Hawkeye...idk. Hulk...idk. Again, Hulk likes to sulk and disappear for long stretches at a time, so that would make sense.

Iron Man 2 was terrible. This looks great and I have nothing but fate in Shane fucking Black.

After the terrible Iron Man 2
and the awful Avengers
I wasn't interested in more Iron Man, but this trailer looks great. Shane Black is going to be the savior of the marvel cinematic universe. He wrote this, right? RIGHT?

I think the suit looks off, regardless if its CG or prop. Though, it could just be the lighting.

What has Shane Black got against stilt houses man? This madness has to stop.

Did Mandarin's voice sound like it was filtered through a modulator/synthesizer to anyone else? Intentional? Sounded real robotic, or like a malevolent Stephen Hawking.

co-written, yes

Maybe, I thought Iron Man 2 had some wonky CG at times too. But I thought the suit in The Avengers looked the best it ever had.

Yes!!!!!
FUCKING MANDARIN!!!!!!
It'd better be not like Venom or Catwoman where they don't call them by name (but we know it's them)

No more pussy businessman bad guys. We get the real deal this time...

I think the cg looks fine overall. The Iron Man Pose scene in the new armor is a bit off early in the trailer, but looks like it just needs some polish, and same for the choppas. Overall fine, nothing glaring. Smallish screen, though.

Maya Hansen? Lol :P

Extremis is a lock, but how they gonna do it...hopefully it's legit Extremis, bone storing armour and all!

Yep, that's her!

No idea though. They've got Killian and Hansen as characters in the movie, so they could certainly stick pretty close to the comics in that regard.

Not a chance lol. It will probably be an evolution on the tech he used in The Avengers with the bracelets.

Dunno man. I'm hoping, but it's probably gonna be that lame headset thing he was wearing. Although in that scene, he's not wearing anything to suggest that..

I dont see why they wouldnt go all the way. It'd be a nice change to the character that could stick throughout the movies. Saves them some explanation, introduces an opportunity for cool different visuals..

Who's doing CG on this? I thought it looked kind of b-grade in some of the scenes, but let's not pretend CG in Iron-Man 1 (never seen the 2nd one) was always rock solid either. The battle between two suits in the end of IM1 looked pretty bad even for its time.

The rabbit 'statue' looked like something Stark would have in his house :P

Should have ended with the Arc Reactor going out, really didn't need the "Rocky-esque" snow pull. That would have fit better with the whole "Will Iron Man survive?" tone this trailer had.

Other than that hype has started. Can't wait for the opening, midnight showing definitely. Only 6 1/2 months away!
