I'm going through the first few episodes on Netflix and I haven't even cracked a smile. I'm trying to like it.

Does it get better or should I find something else?

It gets much, much better. And like Arrested Development, the continuity and running gags make it even better. First season it was really sort of finding its legs.

It has some dud episodes here and there, but for the most part, I enjoyed the show. Its has a somewhat odd sense of humor to it. It kinda relies on goofy-ness, so it might not be for everyone.

Honestly all of them, I can even stomach How I Met Your Mother. I just finsihed watching Reno 911 and Arrested Development, so it's coming off of those.

I always thought it should have been played straight, more like The Office. And it's not that I think every comedy should be like that, but the rather high concept of 30 Rock would have lent itself to a Larry Sanders Show-style humor better than the manic silliness we got.
