Cereal in milk is not soup. From Wikipedia : Soup is a primarily liquid food, generally served warm or hot (but may be cool or cold), that is made by combining ingredients such as meat and vegetables with stock, juice, water, or another liquid

If a soup has meat, potatoes and peas and you would take every pea out of the bowl and put cereals instead of peas, so there would be meat, potatoes and cereals, it would still be soup.
Now, if you would take potatoes out and put in cereals so there would be meat, cereals and cereals, it would still be soup.
Now, choose to exchange the meat with cereals. Just as changing peas to cereals didn't make the soup be unsoup, or changing the potatoes didn't make the soup be unsoup, changing the meat to be cereals don't make the soup be unsoup.
So now it's soup with the ingredients of meat cereals, potatoes cereals and peas cereals. Just as some forms of fish soup have milk as its liquid, you can pour milk here too.

Cereal is soup. Flawless logic.

The only odd looking one is the bottom right, top left is like Choco Puffs, then Corn Flakes, Fruit Loops, and Sugar Crisp. Never seen a cereal like the last one.
