Is CULVERS good or bad?

A Culvers just opened up near me. For anyone whos had it is it good or is it bad?

I never see it mentioned in fast food threads so I'm suspicious.

Love Culvers.

I live in Chicago and vacation at a Minnesota cabin a couple times a year. Typically I drive back to Minnesota through Wisconsin and one of my highlights of the drive is stopping at Culvers.

Check that shit out.

They have really good cheese curds, frozen custard, and their own brand of root beer that I really like as well. I'm not a huge burger guy which is their main draw so I don't go there often. I think people generally like them too though.

Worth a visit

First time I tried their concrete mixer I had to park my car immediately so I could enjoy that shit.

Vanilla custard + Butterfinger = Bliss

It's the best. I only get to go like once a year when I am in Michigan and it makes me sad.

Get a mint shake. Yup, just mint. You won't be disappointed.

The cheese curds and shake/ice cream things are godlike. Burgers are so-so, super greasy which is a turn off for me but I'm not going hungry if I ever find myself in one.

Delicious. Not a fan of the fries but the burgers and onion rings are super good. Very greasy tho.

Tasty shakes and dessert stuff too.

Oh and as others have mentioned, the cheese curds are A+.

It's just another over-priced burger joint, nothing special. I'd rather eat there than a Hardees or Steak N Shake. You'll probably like it, it's just not something you'll go very often because of the price.

Good enough to pry me away from Whataburger every once in a while when I lived in Texas.

They have root beer that tastes like what A&W franchises used to taste like.

My wife and I always share a sourdough melt with a side of cheese curds. It's not good for you, but what do you expect from a place that calls their burger a Butterburger?

Its good.

My wife is a big fan of their Turtle Sundaes.

You should check it out. In Wisconsin they were pretty darn tasty if you ask me. Also cheese curds ftw!

Do it op, they have some of the best monthly burgers of any chain. Also their heese ccurds rock, they used to have Chipotle cheese curds which were amazing #bringemback

Man I miss Culver's. Great burger- they come up in fast food threads - just less frequently due to lack of locations..

Turtle sundaes are the bomb. I have one every month. Delicious.

I love Culver's, but the nearest one is about three hours away and I have several cheaper alternatives anyways, like Braum's, which I never talk about because nobody outside of a 400 mile radius of Tulsa knows what it is.

On the rare occasions I've passed through the Midwest I've made a point to stop there. It's like McDonald's if the people who run McDonald's had an inordinate amount of reverence for the idea of what a fast food joint can be. It's the closest thing I've found to a traditional restaurant while still being fast food.

Culver's is the bomb dude. Go get some cheese curds. The burgers are fine, I guess. The buns are usually kinda cold.

It's good. Burgers are above average and their custard is amazing. The one next to me has a new favor of the day custard cone for $1. We go a fair bit.
