Yep, that's actually a pretty good filter. In times where you are flooded with new games, something like the presence of pronouns in a game is a perfect way to filter 90% of the garbage. Pretty good invention by the devs to communicate "this game isn't for you".

I'm not a fan of the woke stuff, but if the woke integration is a menu option I'll see once and never again... that's not a big deal. The people crying about a menu option you'll see once, make a selection and never see again unless you intentionally want to change this pronoun setting seem like the snowflakes they're crying about.

I personally only take issue if it presents itself in a forced way in gameplay. Win/lose a race and I have to watch a cutscene about the struggles of a non-binary racer? Miss me on something like that. These menu options are non-issues.

I have been enjoying the Horizon games less and less with every sequel. These retarded avatars are not helping. The gameplay leans more and more into the arcade and fantasy side. I was never a fan of the off road field races. The game just gets more over the top, ridiculous, and annoying. The General Lee was banned. Barn finds are less interesting. I may just skip this shit.

Exactly. It's a racing game, so you surely see them a LOT less compared to everything else. Folks have made it sound like they started adding quite a bit of varied character customization with each iteration. This one just appears to include an additional body type and some UI text for the sake of inclusion, I don't really think there's much effort there at all.
