I really really hope EviLore&Co have something up their sleeves. The 500 errors are getting more and more frequent, and that's just under everyday load. Honestly, I don't even want to think about what peak usage near E3 will do to the servers.

NeoGAF always has server troubles just before E3, but the admins do a good job sorting it out by the time the expo begins. It will get slow, the search fuction will probably be abandoned and the OT will likely be culled again, but its worth it for the awesomeness that is NeoGAF during the live press conferences.

It's fair to say that most posters weren't filled with joy. E3 last year wasn't that great to be honest, probably due to the huge changes to the event itself. Now Sony's E3 conference in 2006, that was an awesome clusterfuck! One of the most morbid gaming moments I can remember and thus, highly entertaining and hilarious.

I can see that happening, Microsoft to me looks like they have no clue what they are doing at the moment and becoming very reactionary. If they go heavy casual and waggle during the conference I can see a lot of tears coming from their more die hard fans. However they have such a strong third party following that even if MS themselves bugger up, someone will have something that will placate them.

Well, it was the only thing to do aside from blaming WiiFit so that's pretty much what happened.

I have to echo the guy who talked about 2006, it was really, really awesome, mainly due to Sony.

There is nothing quite like GAF on an E3 week, batten down the hatches and get the women and children inside, this year is going to shake the very foundations of GAF.
