The last few times I've tried to edit my posts, when I hit confirm it just does the little spinning circle loading thing and never actually solidifies the post.

It always solidifies the post when it happens to me in Opera.

I just never worry about it once I hit Save.

I have this issue as well, but only on Chrome. Tested on Waterfox and it's fine.

It may be more useful to give a few details on the config that have that problem (if only some of them are concerned).

It happened to me too, and I'm running Opera 12.15 (rev 1748) on Windows 7.

*edit : just happened again. I edited to add a single character and it worked. I edited again to mention that it worked, and it got stuck.

It could be the cause of the error, since it causes invalid XML, which then doesn't get parsed when the script tries to use it.
