Not really, bathroom surfaces are nasty. I said earlier in the thread as long as you eat food that wasn't stored in the bathroom, hold it in a clean hand, and finish it before you flush, you're good to go. As soon as you flush its like an explosion of fecal matter into the air, whether you close the lid or not. Unless your toilet lid has an airtight seal or something

Sometimes if I'm eating at home and have to go to the bathroom before I'm finished I'll take the last couple bites into the bathroom with me.

I don't see the problem with drinking water there. I brush my teeth like three feet from the toilet every say.
