probably Billie Jean, The Way You Make Me Feel, and Thriller are better than any Madonna song

Yeah, that's Madonna's opus and her top contribution to pop canon. Fucking amazing song. Like a Prayer certainly made headlines due to the video, but it's a little heavy-handed as a song.

Hate me, but despite liking a lot of her hits when I was younger I don't feel her 80s work in particular has held up that well.
On the flip side Michael Jackson's Thriller still holds up to this day.
That being said all of this is mucked up if we consider some of the 60s pop rock bands like the Beach Boys or the Beatles to count.
I also think some of the back half of the 90s stuff from groups like Nsync, Spears, and Backstreet are really strong.

I would favor God Only Knows followed closely by Billie Jean. Like a Prayer is really good, but there are argument's that it isn't even the best Madonna song.
