Is M. Bison transgender/genderfluid?

So I was reading some of the Street Fighter lore and maybe I'm reading way too much into this but on the Street Fighter wiki and some interesting tidbits pop up in Cammy's article:
The second World Warrior tournament was announced and, discovering that Bison was part of it, Cammy felt a strange connection to him, and entered the tournament. She confronted Bison, who told her that she is a copy of him, that she killed for him, that he planted her in Delta Red (but didn't count on her losing her memories), and that he had no further use for her.
When Cammy confronted Bison, he told her that she was meant to become his next body, after his current physical manifestation was destroyed by his own Psycho Power. Cammy managed to break the twelve Dolls free from Shadaloo's mind control, and they confronted Bison together. He explained to Cammy that she was a clone of himself who possessed a small portion of his Psycho Power, and that if he were to die, she would die as well.

It's also worth noting that Cammy wasn't the only body Bison planned to inhabit that he designed himself.

According to the official UK website, Abel is "actually nothing more than a genetically engineered replacement body created for use by M. Bison. He was to be disposed of with the other failed creations, but he alone managed to survive and escape ".

Bison sure had a lot of options when it came to a replacement body, but Cammy is seemingly the one he prepared to inhabit. Abel didn't have any Psycho Power and as far as I know none of his other replacement ideas (like Ryu) did either.

Cammy fought against his psychic probing and rescued the Dolls from Bison's control with the Psycho Drive.

Cammy got the Dolls out of the Shadaloo base and then fell unconscious, no longer a clone, but an independent human.

This part on Cammy seems rather vague and when (A Shadow Falls spoilers)
Bison seems to die, Cammy is alive and well apparently. This could mean several things, but it might mean Bison's not dead (which would not be a surprise at all) or that Cammy is free from his Psycho Power.

The thing about M. Bison and Cammy is that I haven't seen much or any discussion about this part at all. I did some searching last night but aside from a Yahoo Answers result, nothing really came up. What are your opinions and thoughts on this? Personally it'd be kind of neat to see a new woman character that's revealed to be Bison's new body in SFVI and the reaction to that.

I always thought Bison was like Cell from DBZ. Cell ate up Androids for poweer. Bison does something similar.

He better keep his hands off my Cammy, though!!!

This sounds more like some Ghost in the Shell type deal where the body is no longer important except as a vessel for a particular mind and power, based on what you have written.

It made me think of how twice in Naruto, Orochimaru inhabited a female body, but still outwardly appeared like his male self and identified that way. But we never saw Bison actually inhabit Cammy's body, so the possibility of him being NB can't really be written off entirely. I never thought about it that way but it's not a wrong assessment of things.

Isn't Rose the good part of his soul or something like that?

Oh, I remember that. The hole goes deeper!

Wanting to inhabit the body of a more powerful person who happens to be the opposite sex |= being transgender/genderfluid.

I think this is just you projecting.

I suppose its possible

in the cartoons his eyes were darkly tinted.

perhaps he wore eyeshadow and the animators couldn't be arsed to actually draw the eyeshadow so they worked around it by just making his entire eye dark

It's not even his name.

Yep, M. Bison is that guy:

Bison isn't into labels, man. He just wants to be able to Hooligan into Spiral Arrow and then Cannon Spike like everyone else.

Wasn't Rose supposed to be the good part of Bison's soul when they were split in two?

Bison is known to body-hop and has plenty of "spares" like Seth, Abel and possibly Ed. He may not care what gender he ends up as if the body is powerful enough.

Maybe the new body morphs into what bison always looks like regardless of sex or appearance?(I'm not really all that familiar with sf lore)

No.

Although now that's been brought up, I kinda wish Bison had different bodies in different games. I mean I love his design but you could do some fun stuff with the idea that he's changing forms all the time.

The day Bison bodyswapped was the most important day of transgendered individuals, but for him, it was just tuesday.

Dictator is not genderqueer because he plays with DOLLS that are clones of Dictator's DNA...

It is because THAT and the Rose thing at the same time as this

US military officers Charlie and Guile enter the base on a mission to stop the dictator, joined by Chun-Li. After learning that the bombardment of Shadaloo was called off due to corruption in Interpol and M. Bison's manipulation, Chun-Li realized that they would have to destroy the base themselves. As Chun-Li and Guile escape the explosive-rigged base, Charlie keeps fighting the resurrected M. Bison, and ultimately seems to sacrifice his own life to allow their escape. Bison's soul, however, ends up surviving the explosion and takes control of Rose.

Bison remains inside Rose's body until his Shadaloo scientists forge a new body for him
, at which point he releases Rose from his control, and she awakens back at home, with few memories of what happened.

If Cammy is a clone of Bison and Cammy is female, then... we kinda have to assume that Bison is biologically female, don't we?

You make the classical mistake into thinking people who made this had any knowledge of biology.
It's a clone but for some reason it's also someone entirely different.

In the canon (although never depicted), Bison takes over Rose's body at the end of Alpha 3, and it just remains "Rose being posessed by Bison" until scientists build him a new body (just before Street Fighter 2) to put it in.

It very much seems like they intentionally design the body to always look like the M Bison we know, despite the constant amount of talk about clones and how they always seemingly look/act different from him

Rose is tied to him as well...you are projecting OP. Bison is just about power, doesn't care what body it is. Like Orichimaru from Naruto.

No.

Well, his body in the Alpha series was taller and more muscular than his weaker SF2 self.

Bison is male but he has ability to switch bodies, no? Or am I reading it wrong?

Whatever body Bison uses, Bison still a cool character.

Hey, we work with what we're given. If we are to trust that, canonically, Cammy is a clone of Bison, we have to assume that Bison's natural body looks like Cammy. Thus, Bison is trans.

Also note that Abel is a "genetically engineered replacement body" rather than a clone. Naturally, Bison as a trans male would want to make himself a replacement body that was also male.

I like this version too

But still does not explain the Rose body switch because if he was trans dude he would have avoided that at all costs
