I might some day. I erased everything on my Wii U some months ago as I planned on selling it but thankfully I didn't.

Hell no. I'm well past that. I am up to the mountain. I have finished every single level before the Champion level and its two companions.
I am just working through all the stars and such right now but some of the levels can go suck an egg. I can't even figure out how to get the timing to bounce up that wall in the final world where you need to use the cannon balls. There must be a truck but I CAN'T PULL IT OFF. I did it once. Now I cant anymore. Fuck it. I still need the first and last stars and the stamp in that level and I can't even get to the first star.
But fuck the Great Goal Pole level was awesome once I switched to Toad and got each star and the stamp separately in different runs. Now I just have to get to the top of that pole. That's going to take timing.
lol, dude, that's super easy. You don't even have to move the control stick. Just jump so that you will land on top of the first one and hold jump.

Dont let them pressure you into playing a game you clearly aren't enjoying.

I do. I was. And I had no problem at all the first time I played. (Even the Grumps were having trouble at first) But last night nothing worked. Holding Jump, timing my jump. Nothing. I'll try again.
Also, fuck Floating Fuzzy Time Mine. lol
I still need about 32 stars. Man.
Question, do you need all the stars, stamps and flagpoles at once or can you get each special level separately if you get all of one thing first?

I still need to pick that up and play it. There's so many Wii U games I haven't purchased yet. It doesn't help that they're all still full price years after they came out but that's a discussion for another day.

Yeah I still see New Mario Bros. DS at full price.
On topic, played to World 6 yesterday and absolutely love it. Great game. For me this alone is worth buying a Wii U for.

The game was released November of 2013, and I really have trouble remembering anything great about this game outside of the Toad missions and that one Asian inspired world. For me, the game was just really unremarkable. Polished, yes; cute, yes; but something that I'd want to go back to or feel nostalgic about? Nah. Even the OST, which Mario's usually do well in, just wasn't memorable and I can't think of a single song that amazed me. What made matters worse was Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze coming out and its OT punching Mario out the game.
I feel like each of the past console Mario games left their pink print on the industry in some shape or another, but Mario 3D World just turned out to be a really well made game and nothing more.

I agree TC. Well said. We need a full single player 3D world Mario game.
Agreed. While 3D World was very fun, it didn't really hit the benchmark of a Mario epic you expect on the consoles. For some reason, the 3DS version struck me as much more "memorable", probably because I thought the 3D looked really good and the gameplay and physics were fresh.
Going from Mario Galaxy to this, while not a step backwards, is definitely a step sideways.
I completed Crown World yesterday. Those are the three levels at the very end including Champion's Road. I have all 380 Stars and all available Print Stamps except the final five for completing every level with every character.
I'll re-iterate what I said in the thread earlier. This game is a MASTERPIECE!! Absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed this game.
BTW, I can do Champions Road using Rosalina only and no power ups. It isn't a crazy run through like that guy does on YouTube. It's a much more cautious way through. And it relies on using her Spin Attack as a Double-Jump the whole way through the level. The problem with power ups is that they prevent Rosalina from doing her Spin Attack in favour of the Power Up feature.

Super Mario 3D World is amazing. My son enjoys playing it, too! We play together very often.

I love Rosalina for some things. That spin is useful. I'm glad each character has their own strengths like SMB2. Except Mario. Does Mario even have any special ability at all? He can't jump high, float, run super fast or spin kill. Why use him?
