Is "The Implication" (Sunny) the best sitcom scene ever?

Big fan of the Nightman episode myself.

laughs are cheap, I'm going for gasps.

the health inspector one where charlie organizes the whole day to pass the inspection is pretty incredible, the constant chair smashing as he keeps going backwards and forwards and juggling all the nonsense while nobody appreciates him had me laughing till I cried.

I can't really post a scene, becuase the joke is the entire episode long.

It's amazing they didn't get an award for that.

This episode is amazing. Seems very inspired by Birdman (continuous take in a chaotic setting with frantic jazz music)

It's a funny scene especially since there's so much truth about the inherent power men have in this type of situations.

But it's not even the best sunny bit, c'mon dude!

That's my favourite episode by a mile, they really hit it out of the park with that one. The group dynamic is perfectly encapsulated. It answers how the fuck is that shit hole of a bar still open and is a novel direction job with the constant Camara following Charlie around.

The ending gag with the chair and Dee falling is just so perfect.

The actual Nightman play is comedy gold, but the entire setup is great too because they rehearsal scenes tell you every joke that will occur in the play and its still fucking hilarious when it happens.

It's crazy how long it has been on air and it's still so consistent. I don't blame the guys for squeezing that golden goose and no harm no foul.

Blackadder Goes Forth - court scene; entrance of Lord Flash.

Arrested Development - the breakfast that culminates with Tobias slipping on 'gangy's' and executing the perfect pratfall, foot just visible at bottom of the screen. Or Mrs Featherbottom falling off the stairs.

Black Books - Manny and Bernard read their children's book.

Spaced - rave scene, all of it.

Science is a liar sometimes is way too fucking topical for the past year. The show is about a bunch of horrible people and it turns out that it's representative of a good chunk of the American populace.

It's amazing to think that people watch this shit and get "lol stupid women" as the takeaway. It's like watching Story of your Life from Black Mirror and blaming the wife for cheating instead of the husband for being the one that forces her to show him something that is over.

That's a random interpretation.

(Dennis and Dee's Mom's Will)

The quality sucks, but everything about this scene just reinforces that the show gained so much when Devito came onboard. It's actually difficult to recall him not being on the show at this point. And the scene is darker and more hilariously messed up in retrospect of the fucked up nature of the actor who played Bruce.

I'm not sure which show is better satire between this and Black Mirror 🤔

In season 1 they were just flirting with being social pariahs but come season two they just put make up on a pig and went to town.

She doesn't normally hang out there, but she works at the bar with the rest of the gang.
Hahaha nice

Holy shit, the comment section on the video in the OP got raided by alt righters from voat who just constantly watch gaf and find things to whine about.

Well they probably consider Dennis the Messiah so this video must be like him preaching to the choir.

I like coming up with Dayman, Magnum Dong, and the four way intersection better. And that's just the top of my head

Even the most recent season where Dennis slowly takes off his clothes and starts talking about a storm of fists has me rolling just thinking about it. The clip's good though.

OH GOD WALLY.

Dennis's meltdowns in that episode were amazing.

Maybe not, but I couldn't think of a better title. Just post your favorite scenes from sitcoms and why you love them.

Here's the implication for reference:

This scene is a great showcase of just how sociopathic Dennis gets without going too over the top. It's also one of the earlier moments of where they started to take Dennis really really deep down the road, and it's a hilarious way to show it.

Seinfeld has some great moments too, but they're usually culminations of an entire episode's worth of frustration, so it's hard to recommend small snippets like this one.

I would say "yes". I am not an especially big fan of Sunny overall, but that scene is brilliant.

This is the scene that I laughed hardest at in my life. I burst out crying and laughing, helpless and out of control. I thought I was going to die that day, happily.
Man exactly the same with me! I was watching it in bed, headphones on, with my wife sleeping beside mme. I literally nearly pissed myself trying to hold the laughter in. She woke up to me having what looked like some sort of seizure in floods of tears. It was so fucking hilarious!

The D.E.N.N.I.S system is a classic as well.

This this this.
Also the episode Mac Bangs The Waitress and DAYMAN, FIGHTER OF THE NIGHTMAN, CHAMPION OF THE SUN.

mouth stuff :)

Also, LOVE the Dayman/Nightman song (ah-ah-ahhh). Fucking amazing, & catchy too!

For me, it's from the group date episode.

Frank: "Let's keep it simple. Let's just start with our names".

Cut to the Mac, Charlie and Frank walking out of the office into the bar.

Frank: "Hello ladies, I'm Frak. Shit!" *blows whistle; they walk back into office*
