Is there a list of 3rd party games using Nintendo IP?

See title.

I know the Oracle games and Minish Cap were capcom.

Obviously the warriors game are KT.

Other M is Ninja.

Star Fox Zero is Platinum Games.

Rabbids Mario is Ubisoft.

Does Smash count as Bandai Namco?

What am I missing?

Being 3rd party means that Nintendo never published them.

So with Starfox Zero, although that may have been developed by Platinum, Nintendo still published it.

Gonna repost from Mario thread:

I just got Mario + Rabbids on Switch and it got me thinking...what are some of the interesting/good non-Nintendo published console games with Mario in?

Bandai Namco has developed many games for Nintendo. Star Fox Assault, Pokkén Tournament, Mario Kart Arcade etc.

What do mean by using IP?

Would Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii u Edition count with its costumes and Mushroom Battle Mode?

Does the IP have to have equal billing like Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Fortune Street or Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle?

With the exception of Mario + Rabbids, all of those are 1st party games (with an * on the Warriors games, as they aren't published by Nintendo in Japan, but are elsewhere, and had more limited involvement from Nintendo).

If you're accepting any game developed by an outside studio, that's a very long list (and not a very interesting one IMO), including games such as OoT 3D, MM 3D, TP HD, numerous Next Level Games titles (Punch Out Wii, Luigi's Mansion 2, etc.), Samus Returns, every single Star Fox game but SF64, Brawl and Smash 4, several games from Monster (newer Excite games, Pilotwings 3DS, etc.), Kirby's Epic Yarn, the Mario & Luigi series, etc.. Nintendo contracts out the development of a LOT of games.

Some examples of actual 3rd party games featuring Nintendo IPs include NBA Street V3 on GCN, Skylanders Superchargers, and Skyrim on Switch.

Other M was a Nintendo game by any measure. They simply chose a third party to collaborate with. Team Ninja worked on it but most of the major duties like writing, directing, etc were by Nintendo staff.

Most of these games follow that same direction.

Wouldn't Wonderful 101 count as well since that is an IP Nintendo owns not platinum.

Wait are you talking about 3rd party devs that are commissioned by Nintendo to make a game using one of their IPs?

We're getting confused here.

1st party - developed and published by Nintendo (Super Mario Odyssey). You may get other companies helping out with some parts of the game like in Breath of the Wild.

2nd party - developed by a different company but still published by Nintendo. (Metroid Other M).

3rd party - developed and published by a different company. (Mario + Rabbids)

First-party = Published by console maker

Third-party = Published by someone other than the console maker

All of OP's games are first-party because Nintendo published them except Mario + Rabbids and Hyrule/FE Warriors because those were self-published. I think what they're really asking for is games developed by third-parties who aren't normally that series's main developer.
