I've recently gotten into Brawl again, I used to be so competitive with this game. Toon Link is basically perfect.

The only thing is, I hate playing the wii on my HDTV, because it is so pixelated and such. Is there any game that is similar to the awesomeness that is Smash Bros. for HD systems?

Not really..there's a similar one like Rag Doll Kung Fu; but mostly on the "4 players fighting each other at the same time"...but it's really not the same (not even good).

In any case Brawl looks quite fine on HDTVs, at least it does in mine. Just remember to play it with component cables, check the "de-flicker options" in the menu and toy around with the sharpness of the set through component.

Gotta love the Rag Doll Kung Fu Fist of Plastic theme song. I think most people got it for free last year or so...The game is hard to get all the trophies on

But yeah apart from that nothing exists in the vein of Super Smash Bros Brawl, unless you want to count on other 3rd party stuff that doesnt have SONY characters headlining the cast of the game.

Actually the latter is admittedly more akin to Virtual On.

Metal gear franchise appeared first on a nintendo console and the gamecube had a remake of the metal gear solid.
Cloud appeared on the gba kingdom hearts, mobile phone final fantasy 7s and another non sony place that i can't remeber =P

...but what they are saying is that sony didn't CREATED Cloud.

Neither Nintendo created snake or sonic, but they make it pretty obvious in the smash bros brawl (and lets not forget that the cameo only happened in the third game of the franchise)


...also, Snake is only on smash bros because kojima himself went to nintendo and asked.

But yeah I get your point. Kung Fu ragdoll can be hilarious if your 4 players and doing silly stuff otherwise its rather limited how fun the game is.

I don't particularly care for SSB but it's kind of absurd to casually look for a replacement of a game that's considered the best of it's genre because it's SD. While we are at it please refer me to RE4 but better on my Game Gear.
