I own both the Katana wireless controller and the newer Logitech wireless...
As far as controllers go, if you like the dual shock, stick to Katana... If you're a fan of the Logitech and it's bigger throw around the analog stick areas, go with that.
Tested with fighting games mainly. Slight lag, maybe a frame or half a frame. Not 100% sure. Didn't go balls out on the testing process.
Tried it with a Pelican PS2/PS3 USB converter and the lag was a bit worse on the PS3.
Nonetheless, one of the better PS2 wireless controllers on the market. I like it a tad more than the Logitech one.
