Itunes always rips perfect for me, and it's free and very nice.

I use linux for my multimedia work, so it's cdparanoia for me... basically the program EAC tries to be.

Oh, and yes, nevermind us program elitists. You might get crazy ideas like that stack of 100 taiwanese cdrs you bought for $10 might not be good for storage. Wanting programs that don't necessarily trust your drive or CD and sacrifice speed for quality reading is nuts enough as it is.
