Is there still a reason to keep owning a X360?

Ace Combat 6 probably won't be rereleased or made BC because of the aircraft licenses

Disappointing, but AC7 looks like it's gonna be awesome.

Weren't there some problems with input lag on PC?
They patched all 3 games few times and I'd say that every major bug is gone, input lag too, especially on Mushihimesama ...

But I'm not a shmup expert so better check shmups11 forum for a detailed analysis, sorry. :/

OG Xbox Backwards Compatibility.
Bad compatibility, especially for PAL releases.

Panzer Dragoon Orta and Outrun 2006 are disasters, for example.

I keep mine for the games that are not BC and you can't get on PC (yet). Not much, but enough to keep the console. These are:

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand
Chonicles of Riddick: Dark Athena
Crackdown
Driver: San Francisco
Splatterhouse
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.

Also I can play all the Xbox Tony Hawk's on 360. (since I no longer own a PS2 or BC PS3).

Deathsmiles is on steam. No reason to own a 360 anymore.

Deathsmiles best 360 "Exclusive"
Even with all the great games I own on Steam I still play more Deathsmiles then anything else. What will I play in the game room at Colossalcon in a couple weeks? Deathsmiles

Most of the big hits are available on X1, so I'd say no.

Unfortunately PS3 is still mandatory. At least until the emulator is done.

I don't know you handle old consoles but after PS4 launch I never touched PS3 again.

I just moved on without look back.

I use it as a media machine for my kid. Play movies, netflix, hulu, etc.

Netflix was one of the reasons I asked it back, after selling the PS4. Then I found it was capped to 720p and I ended getting a Roku.

And speaking of media, I still have the HD-DVD player *facepalm.jpg*

Well, Halo 4 (most recent thing I have played) did not hold that bad. I went from a Vita to a 3DS, and I play with a snes on a 40" LCD without a Framemeister, so I think I have a pretty high tolerance.

I still have mine for deadly premonition and alone in the dark. If those end up on Xbone BC I might consider upgrading.

Im still waiting for The Outfit to hit Xbone BC. Might just be nostalgia but I had a lot of fun with it.

In case you got both, check the BC list to see if it supports all the games you will want to play in the future and if it does, get rid of the 360. Otherwise keep it.

There's way too many great Xbox 360 titles to get rid of one completely.

I have a Halo Reach LE system but I'm honestly considering selling it to get one of the smaller systems (which I know isn't that much smaller) just so it takes up the minimal amount of space.

That reminds me that the person that owned my 360 for those years has offered to lend me a PS3 long term.
If you can, go for it. For me, PS3 collecting has been like finding a gold mine. It's particularly fruitful if it's you missed out on the PS2 era, because of all the re-releases.

There are lots of 360 only XBLIGs.
This is true, actually. I'll admit there's a lot of cool stuff trapped there. Too bad for the stuff that's been unlisted. :'/

if it had a blu ray player i would say yes

when i'm visiting the folks where i left my Ps3, I just use that to watch movies. If you have dvds and watch them still then i'd say keep the 360 for that, why not.

and it has Netflix and all that other shit too so

I'd argue that it's still the best way to play Deadly Premonition until it comes to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. Also, Operation Darkness.

My Xbox 360 will always be my Rock Band box. So much DLC and stuff on there that there's no real way I could feel good about getting rid of it.

I have a shortlist of titles that I want to play that are not BC. Once those games (Poker Night 2, Konami beat'em ups, Sega stuff) are playable on Xbone, I'll pick up one. Until then, not giving up my X360.

Seriously though, I hardly had a reason to keep my 360 when it was alive though, the original reason I bought it for (XBLA ports) served me reasonably well at the time.

Ι still have to keep mine since i got a collection of 10 Rock Band/Guitar Hero games for it.

Plus a few games that don't exist on PC like Ninja Gaiden 2 and Red Dead Redemption. And Perfect Dark HD.

I have Outrun and Sega Rally Online Arcade in the thing so I keep the mine. Also I have A LOT of games physical and digital and
I dont own a Xbox One

You still can't buy BC games with Microsoft wallet when you're on the PC or on the Xbox One. I don't really care for them that much (got all the ones I'm interested in in retail form), but it can be a big deal if you don't want to (can't) link your credit card to your account.
