The falcon chase scene from The Adventures of Tintin - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mVpZTGCikM

O_O
That was amazing...I must watch this.

I like the one in Jack Reacher a lot.

Reminds me of something you would have seen in a Steve McQueen movie like Bullitt. Simple and straightforward, but pretty exciting. No music and just the sounds of the sirens in the engines revving was very atmospheric

The real answer is of course Terminator 2 truck/bike chase, or Mad Max: Fury Road.

Edit:
T2 canal chase.

All about the tension.
This one knows what's up.

The chase scene from Blues Brothers is probably still my favourite.

Never seen TinTin? I highly recommend it it's a movie I often go back and watch when I have nothing to watch, like a animated Indiana Jones movie.

That's not the entirety of Mad Max: Fury Road.
If I had to pick one scene, it would be the motorcycle chase sequence around the middle. Max and Furiosa starting to work together, incredible score, flawless direction and staging, gorgeous cinematography. The snippet released online is edited quite a bit but still gives me goosebumps.

So many people didn't even watch the video in the OP going by the post in here LOL.

It's a sight to behold.

The best chase scene of all time is in a 1961 movie called One,Two,Three which stars James Cagney. It shits all over Bullitt and everything else.

I liked the foot chase in point break
also the foot chase in se7en

i wouldnt say either of these is best though
as for car chases I cant think of many atm

I mean, it's a masterpiece of a film but you people posting "the entirety of Mad Max: Fury Road" are cheating! XD

Best chase scene is when Nick Fury is being hunted down in his vehicle in Captain America: Winter Soldier. Incredible and they throw guns in the mix too. People only won't mention it since it's "Marvel" and that word is now tainted.

Did I lie?

mad max had a beautiful chase scene but it didnt put me on the edge of my seat

children of men had really short chase scenes that felt very, very heavy

I would also put Highway Star chasing Josuke in Jojo part 4, and Ghiaccio chasing our heroes' car in Jojo part 5. Intense and action packed chase scenes, but since thy're manga they won't count
