you talking about the series finale? or the finale to a season?

i cant believe this got cancelled after 4 seasons while One Tree Hill is on its like 7th season. fucking Fox.
Series finale- specifically the ending montage- more specifically the very last scene with Ryan leaving the construction site. Gets me every time.

OP, if you like Mischa Barton, then yes... the show will be like crystal meth. Only 4 seasons.

Was so mad when
Samaire Armstrong (Anna) left the show.

Watch this show with your girlfriend (assuming you have one and she hasn't see the OC). That way she's happy because it's got a lame story and you get to check out Mischa, Melinda and Rachel. Win, Win.

13 from House.

There was no Autumn in Season 1. but S1 had some of the best writing, and of course has Rachel Bilson.

Oh, I meant 3 and 4. Not 1 and 4

Oh, and of course, watch it for the MILF that is Julie Cooper Nichol Cooper Roberts.

I found it funny when I found out half of my co-workers were closet O.C. fans that only watched the show because of the chicks.

You gotta love Rachel Bilson though. I was happy to see her appearance in Chuck too.

Luke starts out as a 1 dimensional douche and turns into a
golden retriever
, one of my favorite (of many) character flips the series does.

Fuck - I'm gonna have to restart this shit so I can watch Chrismakkuhhhhh soon :lol

Watched episode 1(well part of it), very different from what I expected...well somewhat. Not bad so far though.

And also, Mischa Barton unattractive? That introductory scene with her bumming a smoke from Ryan(?) on the sidewalk...god she looked amazing.

Misha has since never come close to looking as good as she did in S1. She was gorgeous.

I love the ending. I don't think they could have done it any better.

Screw all of you, S2 was awesome. Until
Ryan's brother
showed up. S3 was terrible, but the first 2/3rds of S2 is excellent.

P.S. You're all forgetting Lindsay:

The writing in this show is excellent and always made me laugh, even on a repeat viewing. Also the thread is missing something..

Thats not who the blonde girl is. It's the other girl from House, Olivia Wilde:

IMO Lindsay wasnt as hot as the other females, even Theresa. But she did look really really good in Prison Break

Finished episode, actually glad to see that Ryan was forced back into Peter Gallagher's life at the end. Actually Peter Gallagher is pretty great in this show so far, not at all digging his character in S3 of Californication in comparison.

Gallagher's Sandy Cohen was an awesome character and performance. Felt so genuine.

I would say watch seasons 1 and 4 because they're the best (and both have Autumn Resser in them)

She was in 3 and 4. She wasnt in 1.

I honestly don't feel that I'm exaggerating when I say that it has one of the greatest finales in television history. I still watch that last scene from time to time on my computer.

Agreed, and seeing Ryan's arc close with him basically becoming Sandy Cohen was such a great way to end things.

One of the best shows ever IMO. It's the only show I've ever watched from start to finish.

It died with Micha Barton's character though.

I disagree with the spoiler but agree with the non spoiler.
Lindsay + Rachel Bilson = hellyeah.

All of the male Cohens (including Ryan) are the best characters in the show:

I still defend season 1, but after that all bets are off. I stopped watching in the middle of season 3 and will probably never bother picking it up again.

watch "the asssassination of a high school president" you see her tits in this one

other than that I remember the O.C. being quite good from what little I watched it
might watch it once again in full this time

seems like everyones problem is that they stopped watching. i mean, i could see why you would after the last half of S2 and most of S3, but S4 really redeems itself. FINISH IT!

Yeah, the middle two seasons aren't the best (but they're watchable), but the first season is great, and the last season did a good job of ending an abruptly canceled show with some class.

Wow, I'm kinda shocked so many guys are admitting to watching and liking The O.C. Granted, it's only over the internet. but yeah, I'm a girl and I was made fun of unmercifully in high school for liking it by my friends.

I watched and loved season 1. Watched season 2 for the most part, hated it by the end and never finished out seasons 3 or 4. Soapnet plays it every now and then and I've been rewatching some of S1 from it. Good show.

I only watched the first season, but I thought the mom was hottest girl on the show. The one that was in The Gate...

your friends suck =P

i dont think it should be considered a complete chick show, but i can see why someone would have that impression.

I remember being a part of the craze when the show came out. Have the first two seasons on dvd but stopped after season 3.

The soundtracks aren't bad either.

do you know how many men on here relate with seth cohen? guy is ostracized for being a total nerd growing up but learns to love himself /his aesthetic / his passions for comics and music. takes pride (or perhaps a false sense of superiority) in those things that make him different.

then he wakes up one day and realizes all those little special parts of him that were just his have not only become socially acceptable... but they've become hip and cool and now he's got to reconcile what really made him the person he is, as it must have been more than just those initial passions.

story of my life, and i can't be the only one here.
