FYI: No one is actually logged in as the wrong user, it's simply a display bug, changes can't be made to accounts, ect. Don't panic!

But people were apparently able to stop streams/read PMs. Gonna be hard to explain after tweeting that out if what people said was actually true.

I'm so addicted to twitch. I always have it playing on my secondary monitor. This downtime is killing me.

Same here, it literally killed my stream time (I start at 10:30pm est only on weekends) and now it's killing my free time (i watch twitch way too much). Come back already!

Yeah the "display error" stuff is BS. I have a feeling they're gonna point fingers at 3rd party CDNs or whatever and not take any responsibility for anything.

Nothing is loading on twitch.

How thoughtful of them to display an image of a pirate flag on a "maintenance" message. Some people called them on it in the blog comments and they changed it. On Twitter they said the image was from a company event.

It's apparently a new service from what I've heard, but I've basically tried Youtube and Ustream (since it's gonna be on ps4, barf) and both are pretty bad as well. Same for Azubu (two streams online) and Hashd. There's also apparently no ETA, despite them saying "shortly" and "soon" way too many times.

This happened right when I went to stream, too. Saw 'soon' on Twitter about an hour later so figured I'd wait it out.. five hours later, I think I've given up on my Friday stream. I'd really hate to see a big streamers twitter/youtube right about now, probably tons of people asking what's going on.

Yeah, I asked if they had an ETA because I was intending to stream this evening (well, when it went down) but they just said no ETA. Kinda weird why they keep saying "soon" though.

I think the title needs to be updated to reflect the severity of this issue. I've never seen something this bad happen for a website like this before.

I tried to load up a twitch channel and just as soon as it was finished loading, twitch sent me to my security settings to change my password. Something about due to the recent happenings, they'd like you to change your password. But when I go to do that, I can't and then I refresh and get 403 Forbidden again.

Mannn, this really sucks lol. I was looking forward to watching a speedrun marathon.
