Is Wolverine's cameo in First Class the best one ever?

I'm trying to think of a better cameo and I just can't. Wolverine's in First Class was just so good. The entire theatre lost it when he said his famous line.

What other great cameos are there?

It's somewhat a shame that he went from the best Cameo in First Class to one of the worst parts of an already terrible movie in Apocalypse :(

Bonus, just because I miss the man so bloody damn much: Terry Pratchett, the writer of the Discworld books, had a cameo in all three live action Discworld adaptions released so far.

As Joshua Isme, owner of Toys is Me in Hogfather.

As Astrozoologist #2 in Colour of Magic/Light Fantastic
(Couldn't find a picture of this, but here's a low quality clip of his first scene in that): https://youtu.be/IwmLgjw3lGs?t=76

As a Postman at the end of Going Postal. Probably his best cameo scene - fitting in a way that his last live action scene ever would be opposite Vetinari (played by Charles Dance).

The guy was doing the whole Stan Lee cameo thing for Discworld. Sadly, even though we have a number of adaptions coming up, this won't be possible anymore. Although I won't be surprised to see a bust or a painting of him hidden in the background somewhere.

These were amazing. He and Neil Gaiman also have a really good cameo in BBC's recent
well, I guess it has been a wee bit now...
radio play adaptation of Good Omens.

Martin Sheen in Hot Shots Part Deux is up there.

This is actually my favourite.

Agreed.

As someone who doesn't like Wolverine (or the X-Men), it felt like the obligatory "Wolverine checkbox to satisfy people who like him omg" CHECK

A little more shameless than Darth Vader in Rogue One (who was less a cameo and more a really dumb character with low screen time).

I don't recall my favorite cameo, but I've loved the ones in Zombieland, Scream, and the Evil Dead reboot.
This argument against Wolverine and then saying that Evil Dead Cameo is great...

I'm going to throw this one into the ring:

I didn't have cable as a kid, but I did have this on VHS and it became on my sick day movie. I'd watch it every time I wasn't feeling well because it was a good time.

Now I can't look at Gibson's dumb face anymore so that's been ruined.

One last one and I promise I'll stop: Seeing Tom Freaking Baker again in the 50th anniversary Doctor Who special. By far the most unlikely actor from the past to show up. Apart from the dead ones, obviously. That moment before you actually see him, but you only hear his voice was a jump-from-the-couch moment for me and everyone I was watching with. Such an iconic voice, such an iconic man, and a very sweet, very silly scene. The kind of little speech that only really makes sense if you speak Tom Bakerian.

As a kid, I grew up watching Tom Baker as the Doctor. That scene made me tear up out of no where.

I've always liked John Candy in Home Alone. The way he was in the background in line at the airport, though maybe a little more than a cameo.

But also, Will Ferrell in Wedding Crashers really gave the movie a jolt.

the Three Stooges, yes, those ones, show up in a wordless cameo in Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Its a great scene where they're just bystanders to slapstick chaos for the one time in their career.
