Is your backlog ready for your Next Big Game?

My next big game will probably be Red Dead Redemption 2 or Breath of the Wild. When I do get my hands on those everything else will be put on hold. Backlogs don't exist when those kind of games come out. Once in a generation kind of thing.

When do you people find the time

Isn't P5 like a 100 hours long game?
More like 120 hours. When I get immersed in a game, I play 2-3 hours every night and much more over the weekend. For some games, like Persona 5 and Nier: Automata, I take 1-2 days off to sink in some additional time.

I've been avoiding buying single player games lately because I know that Persona 5 will force me to drop everything. That series is a once-in-a-decade affair. Literally.

Lol no.

I have about 30 games on Xbox one I haven't really touched. 6+ games on ps4, and I don't even have a PS4 currently after trading it in. So those aren't getting touched anytime soon with Zelda siting in my switch and Scorpio on the way this year. Waiting to see what the rumor is on the new thinner ps4 is. If it's a thin ps4pro then I'll jump on that. First thing I will do on ps4 will be horizon, but it won't be til fall. Back log won't get touched.

Barring some surprises this first quarter of the year was far more interesting the rest of it put together is looking so I'll be fine. I don't worry about being late to the party anyway.

I've given up on the concept of a 'backlog'. If the game is good, i'll play it to the end. If it's a waste of my time, I won't (I'm looking at you, Final Fantasy XV).

Playing games shouldn't be a chore. I have a backlog of washing up at the moment, for example. If you a game stops entertaining you just let it go.

Nope. Gravity Rush 2 and Ace Attorney 6 are getting put immediately on the backburner for persona. Ill get back to them eventually.

Hopefully summer will be a bit quieter because the last few months have been mental games wise.

Lol. No.

I'm more behind than ever. A new job and time with family and friends have all chipped away at game time.

But like others have said, I'll usually drop everything in my backlog for a new game I'm looking forward to, at least for a few days. I love the hype on the first few days of a release.

Un'goro next week, WoW 7.2, and a new Overwatch hero have all nabbed me back, even with Zelda like a quarter done on my new Switch. Poor Horizon got shelved after just five hours but I'll jump right back on it after Zelda. Then there are all the games I nabbed for cheap in the winter PSN sale like Witcher 3 Complete and Odin Sphere...

Let's just say I'm glad Mario Odyssey and the year's other big hitters are way out in the fall. I'm stacked for months.

I still have a rather large backlog, but considering at the start of the year I started at over 100, and am now down to 90 (and I played BOTW A LOT this month), I think I've made good enough progress to play Persona 5 :D

Then again, I didn't buy all the games I wanted either >.>

hell no. I still have not touched grand kingdom, have not touched odin sphere and played a bit of WoFF. Then FFXV hit, ToB hit and now im playing P5 with Nier waiting in the wings. i dont have time for all these gaaaaaaaaaaaameess
