I didn't watch the actual beheading, but
they use a small knife and presumably...uh you know, use that. According to an earlier post they don't show the whole process, just the end result.
 
Terrifying video. How can these people possibly think that their actions are somehow right and just? And people are recruiting voluntarily to do stuff like this? Disgusting.
 
Been reading in the London evening standard the past couple of weeks about a London born bloke who went off to Syria to fight, posted a picture of himself holding a severed head on twitter with the caption "chilling with my homie, what's left of him anyway". This scumbag may even of been him.

This is exactly why the government needed to push through the surveillance legislation that the ecj struck out and why the police did that campaign to families of people who have gone to Syria to shop them. The government know these people are dangerous and are worried about them coming back.

We have deep rooted issues with radicalism in this country and successive governments have done nothing about it for fear of pissing off communities and costing them votes. This is exactly why people then feel scared, alienated, and vote for parties like ukip.

I'm fucking terrified of what the future brings, tbh.

Of course. It's about assimilation, and it happens in all ways of life. Even in a modern society you are expected to play along or your suffer. Play or punish.

It's just these basement-tier regimes that go the whole way and kill people for not playing to their game, and as an outsider, you can very clearly see the falsehoods they stand for. They stand for a platform that only values what they think and thinks all dissenters aren't even worth keeping alive.

I would say fund the locals and let them solve it but the Iraqi army didn't work out and now IS have those weapons. The solution is almost impossible to find, maybe try funding the Kurds and supplying them? I really don't know.
 
The level of the intelligence - if not anything else - is on wide display for the rest of the world. Not only are they wicked, but they are breathtakingly idiotic in thinking these sort of actions would deter others.

The only thing to come from this is not only the eventual demise of ISIS, but the deaths of thousands of innocent others in the wake of that. No wonder he is too frightened to show his face; he doesn't want to spoil his getaway plan back to Europe.
 
The video has actually made me sick, bomb the cunts off the face of the Earth. The guy sounded British, bomb them now before they come back.

I learned that lesson about 15 years ago when I found a video of someone who was kidnapped and beheaded with IIRC a machete. Absolutely horrifying.
 
Poor guy, his fate was sealed. At the very least I am glad he no longer has to spend time with those animals. You cant respond to terrorist threats of this nature, it gives the terrorists power which only leads to giving them more motivation. It isn't a one off, it would only happen more often.

Makes me sick that the last few ISIS videos I have seen have undoubtedly been fronted by people with UK accents. These are people who grew up in the same country as me, I cant imagine the path they have followed. I just cant comprehend it.
 
RIP James Wright Foley. To know that he suffered greatly because of these 7th century savages pains me a lot.

I remember watching a beheading video when I was a teenager and it was the most vile, disgusting, and barbaric act I had ever seen. It made me question everything about Islam and was the catalyst to my atheist beliefs. I cannot begin to imagine what Foley's family is going through right now. This is sad.

Fuck ISIS, their religion, and everything they stand for.

I'd imagine many of them were radicalised in school or at the mosque. One only has to look at Green Lane mosque to see how terribly we have mismanaged this shit. Voted runner-up as a 'model mosque' in the same year that Dispatches uncovered it as being a hive of extremist views (see Undercover Mosque). Then our dopey fucking police go after the program makers for potentially inciting racial hatred via misrepresentation, just to discover that they weren't misrepresenting anything.

Ugh, infuriating. We have a real issue with radical islam and the only people with the will to admit it are scumbags that you wouldn't trust to make you a cuppa.

RIP James Foley. My prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family and his friends.

I wonder about the timing of this. The last thing I read about ISIS before this video was released was that Kurdish forces had retaken the Mosul dam and that the US had destroyed two ISIS strong-points nearby.

Yes, there are a lot of good Muslim people out there. I have lived and worked with them, no need to drag them into it. This group needs to be nuked though

You've hit the nail on the head. Police are terrified oh 'inciting racial hatred', politicians are terrified of pissing off communities and losing votes. Meanwhile fuck all is done and radicalising of impressional young men continues.

I probably did go over the top. I do understand that we don't want to become them as well. Its just here we are doing the right things, thinking about human life and treating these people with respect. Than they do this. Sorry it is terribly disturbing.

My background heritage is turkish. My family is Muslim. I do understand there are mostly good ones. All my family are great. What I just get upset over is they bring innocent Americans into it. We sit back doing the.right thing, courts hearings all this democratic things, while they do whatever. Hell heaps of them are from first world.countries that followed this system.and we're let out after a few years of jail for terror plotting. And than they do this. They don't care for our civilians. We do the right thing and this happens and.now.will continue to happen. Its upsetting.
