It`s October, which means PS1 downloads for PSP!

Was the multiplayer ripped out? Because I ripped my own iso of the Killzone demo disc and its around 70MB. Maybe thats why Sony didn't distribute this for online download.

I'd only download that so I could share it with friends for some multiplayer. If it's not there, there's no point. I have the UMD already.

I'm with this man! I was so heart-broken when Konami/SCEA didn't release it here :(

Me too. :/

I for one can't wait for PSOne emulation on the go. I hope Sony doesn't eff it up (too expensive, shitty library, crappy compatibility/loads). There are a TON of PSOne RPGs I'd love to revisit, and cost permitting, I will, in a portable format. I just don't have the console time to dedicate to them anymore.

Yup.

Eff Sony's emulator, in time there'll be a homebrew emulator that probably works just as well if not better. And you won't have to pay for games you already own.

good luck with playing that in 2012.

Too bad it'll be released long before then!
yep, lemme know when that happens.

anyways, that killzone liberation demo was pretty sweet. it was short, but it was sweet. i can see the multiplayer being pretty fun as well. the controls were iffy at first but after about 5 mins its pretty easy. the demo just sold me. :)

So how will this work? If I have a copy of Suikoden II will I be able to just emulate it over to my psp?

This is soooo never gonna happen.

Enjoy your PSP/PS3 for the games, because the chances of all that other stuff they want to do happening it likely slim ^^;

I think you're being a tad negative. Somehow I think they'll manage to get Ridge Racer, Warhawk and Jumping Flash emulation running on a PSP. Those games are all like 1 meg.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hoping for free-region downloads as well. I'd love to get Rakugaki Showtime without having to pay an ungodly sum. And heck, Pepsiman as well, as long as there are no licensing issues.

Though I already have the original, it would be nice if they include Valkyrie Profile without any of the loading or slowdown issues that plagued Lenneth for PSP.

From what we know so far, you'll have to purchase the PS1 games online, and then store them on your Memory Stick. There isn't an official way (yet) to rip a PS1 game from CD and transfer it over to the PSP.

An advantage of this arrangement is that you could conceivably obtain PS1 games that are rare and/or currently difficult to find in their physical format, weren't released domestically (as the games were region locked on the PS1 hardware), or you just plain old never got around to purchasing when they were widely available.

A disadvantage of this is that if you already own a favorite PS1 game that you want to play on PSP, then you'd have to rebuy it.

Just downloaded the demo. I am not a computerwizard and need help to get this to work. Anybody who can help me?( step by step ). :)
