it's about time for a nintendo dreck isn't it?

Ehh, I'd rather Nintendo save any major game announcements for E3. Their last E3 showing would have appeared better if they were revealing FExSMT for the first time instead of in an earlier Direct. Same with the Ryu annoucement.

Id rather they have a direct for Wii u and 3ds and save E3 for all NX and Zelda

So that's what the new Nintendo Direct format is

Only two games legit dreck, right? Maybe one....

IMHO...

AC: amiibo Festival (obviously)
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (laughably low on content)
Devil's Third (not bad per se, but terribly mediocre and terribly priced)

Someone can put Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash on the list, but I had quite a lot of fun with that game. Still, that's a lot of bad or mediocre games for a publisher with such legendary track record.

Second post nailed it this time, huh?

Dreck being a german word, i'm very interested if they speak dirty german in St. Louis.
German autocorrection on an english phone, uhm huh..

From what I've heard, this word is from Yiddish. I've learned it in Odessa... that city just oozed Jewish culture.

LOL Amazing! :P

Weird, why would it auto correct Direct when it's a common word? Maybe you slightly misspelled it?

I assume it was swyped in inaccurate manner.

Remember they said the previous Nintendo Direct was the last Direct in that format. They need the extra time now to prepare their new super ultra Directs.

Yiddish is a German language. A lot of Eastern European Jews are/were colonists from the Rhein area. There were a lot of German merchant colonists period.

Not true everywhere in the east, like, say, the old Bulgarian population, which was a resettlement of Jews in the Ottoman Empire after the Spanish Inquisition, hence Ladino instead of Yiddish.

I came here only for the jokes about the title. NeoGaf never disappoints.

Now seriously, agree it's almost time for another Dreck.

Upss! Sorry.

Whoops, I forgot about Germanic roots of Yiddish. Thanks for the clarification!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

You obviously meant Direct OP but it didn't stop me from chuckling.

I've got a decent amount of Jewish-German in me and live in St. Louis. I dunno, maybe once or twice in a blue moon, I'd call someone a schweinficker, but that's about as far as it goes.

It's deffo Dreck time; especially with Sony announcing the announcement of PSVR news. Nintendo really can't afford to keep twiddling their thumbs and making poxy little twitter announcements and let that steal the 'big anticipated gaming thing of the holidays' title right out from under the NX.
