Both. For my Batgirl costume i just had an eye mask that i hooked on my glasses.
This year i'm thinking of going as a Henchman from Venture Bros. So will probably make the mask over my glasses.
Just work around it or work with them! Don't let glasses stop you!!

Maaan great costumes require some work. Sometimes simple ones are genuis, though. I have a Gears of War Lancer and Retro Lancer Replica, and have wanted to make the armor for either a COG or Grub for years....but I am pretty lazy. Best COG I could pull off is Dizzy. Grub would be a Theron Guard, since they normally have Lancers or Torque Bows. Carboard is too flimsy and cheap, but I really have no idea of where to start with this. Dizzy requires minimal armor, a Lancer, and a cowboy hat. Oh and the hair and beard.
Which leads me to my fall backs - easy one is Willie Nelson, I can nail that very well. Humurous approach would be the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz..just paint my face yellow, draw the mouth/jaws and I'm set. Leave hair & beard fully "poofed out".
I'm partial to group costumes, they can be hilarious if you do them right. Like, several army men, but one or two be somewhat melted...somehow...?

Unfortunately, living in Portland, OR those are "Vintage" shops now (kind of joking) and I've been keeping an eye out for a couple months. Haven't searched all that hard though, probably hit up a Flea Market or something.

Halloween dress ups are relatively new in my country, but I think I'll go as...
I'm not really a big fan of costumes you buy. I think home-made costumers are the best.
I'm making an Amazing Bag Man costume. Can't find a pair of pants with the feet straps, but I wanted to wear shoes anyway.

yo i was looking for the chest light too. ive seen light up shirts that had it, but id rather just get the light as a prop. ill update this thread if i find it.
go to Amazone though and you can buy a pack of these 1 inch white glowsticks thatll fit perfectly above the eyes of the mask. you could tap them above the eyes on the inside, so when you have masked flipped down and closed the eyes will glow lol.
im making Ghost Face Killahs falcon braclet out of tin foil tho to complete the look. it'll be dope.
