I guess I'll go against the grain here and say I really enjoyed the episode.

One of the funniest episodes of an TV show I've ever seen. First 15 minutes and franks explanation made my week. Not sure I've laughed out loud at sunny so hard since season 1.

Pure genius. I love toilet humor.

AND CRICKET!? OMG HOW FUCKING HILARIOUS WAS THAT?
 
i just finished the first season on hulu, oh man it's good! i remember wanting to watch it when it first come on but i guess i forgot. there are so many awesome things about it.
 
Finally go to watching it. Artemis, frank, and waitress saved this from being a meh episode. I'd rate this like the first episode of the season had a few moments if you like the humor, but just doesn't compare to the much better episodes.

Yeah. Lots of people love both of these shows. You can't deny quality.

Anyways, I agree with many of you that this was probably the worst episode of the series. Regardless, the bleached asshole moment was beyond epic.

I thought it was a pretty good show up until they combined the two storylines at the end. Then it kinda fell apart.
 
OK, I know this is random but has anyone else watched Greg The Bunny? Failed Seth Green/Eugene Levy sitcom on FOX?

Just started watching it and it's really...obscure and quite hilarious.

Was going to make an LTTP thread about it when I'm done...not sure if anyone else here has seen it?

Yes I watched it. Really liked it too. Hell when I first started coming to GAF I had a Tardy avatar.
 
I haven't seen this episode (or season), but I watched all of season 1 and am most of the way through season 2. I have to say I liked the show better before Frank came along, I think he kind of gets in the way of everything and is annoying. I wish they would phase him out after season 2, but I know this isn't the case. He's funny sometimes and adds starpower, but he wasn't necessary.

Some of the Frank/Charlie stuff is great, but it's weird how they "phased out" Frank's relationship with Dennis/Dee.
 
Worst episode I've seen yet. Shit jokes aren't funny to begin with, let alone a half hour shit joke. The scene with Dee running out and face planting into the car was a decent laugh, though. Also the waitress getting totally shit faced was mildly funny. The remainder of the episode reserved for shit "jokes" if you could even call them that, just annoying.

They seemingly have split them up into more concrete groupings this year. I don't care for it.


Mac, Dennis Charlie.
Frank Charlie
Dee and whoever they can shoehorn her in with.

That's my biggest issue. Dee is maybe my favorite character but she hasn't had a lot of good material to work with so far this season. I'm assuming this will change in future episodes.

I remember liking it too. But I barely remember the show itself.

My friend found the series on DVD in a bargain bin and we spent a day watching it all. It's pretty good stuff still.

I use to watch it back in teh day, great show... I think I made a thread about it a long time ago.

episodes been kinda meh so far... where's danny devito?... also i know the gang are horrible horrible people but the kidnapping plot seems a bit much even for them.
 
not sure where danny devito was... charlie going back to grab the hammer at the end got a chuckle out of me, but i didnt think this ep was all that great. it was a bit too convenient that the dude decided to not press any charges at the end, too.
 
Good episode. Not spectacular, but not bad at all. Got some good lols from Charlie playing the Wildcard and Mac's roundhouse
