Here is what I noticed..made sure no one else posted.
Their episodes are always a riff on a collective of popular culture references. This one had Dee dressing up and acting like (listen to some of the things she says and how she says it, like when she wants to go in and swim) Juno. Also, the couple she is having the baby for are named, respectively, Sean and Kate. When they mentioned multiple babies, they were careful not to mention John and Kate, instead going in for the Octomom reference.
This season is already off to a great start, staying consistently funny and not paced too fast like much of last season (and not as high concept either, as mentioned). I'm just disappointed they left you wondering what happened with Charlie and "Lawyerman"'s (Charlie refers to him as this in the episode, so that is what I will call him) duel. Something after the credits, even, would have been awesome (but not in keeping with the show).
What I really want from this season is the return of the McPoyles. One of the episode titles suggest that might be a possibility. Would be sweet.
Oh, and next week's episode looks to be great.
Final thought: do you think something will happen this season finally to where they won't be able to afford to run Paddy's anymore? Unlike how much of the first two (kind of three) seasons they spent a lot of time in the bar, now when they are they're never serving customers or there for very long. (Season three Eagles tryouts, they all go to the park but "it's awfully bright" but then end up going out anyway and from this point out spent more time outside of the bar). Hmmmm....
