Anyone else feel bad for Charlie this episode? Hope he gets the Waitress one day even though he's better than her....Thought it was a touching end.

Full on rapist...:lol

I was slightly touched by the end. Charlie's the only member of the gang that I think is a good person; he just tends to be led astray by his terrible, terrible friends.
That's why is the greatest character.

Fantastic episode. They've been on a roll the last two weeks. The full on rapist thing was hilarious. And of course the milk steak. I love how Mac goes along with it all, telling them the milk is being boiled for his milk steak. :lol

From Glenn Howerton's Twitter - "It's a steak boiled in milk and honey". I don't know why we cut that. Pacing I think. Anyway that's what a milksteak is.

So awesome. :lol

Mac wanting to use the D&B card at TGIF reminded me of Mac in a wedding dress. :lol

Solid episodes so far. Not the roller coaster of really funny then not at all episodes of previous seasons.

I actually think it works better that they cut the actual milk steak out, it's funnier as something that doesn't exist.

When the credits hit my wife just saw "awwww, that was so sweeeeet..."

Vintage Charlie.

and some people don't like the level of absurdity that Charlie has reached... tch tch.

I agree, charlie's world is supposed to be mysterious and special. It's just like that Nightcrawlers joke. By the end of that episode they said what it was and kinda killed the whole joke.

It needs more of the three guys together talking to strangers, specifically women. The way they all, specifically Mac, talked to the bank manager last season had me cracking up.

"Wait, the manager is a woman? Wow this is a strange bank." :lol

Wait Charlie is a good person for giving a box of live hornets? :lol

Well to be fair that guy was a fucking douchebag, I would have given him that box too.

And I love this show soooooo much. It's on par with Seinfeld for me.

Well no, he's totally messed up, but I'm saying that of all the characters, he's the only one who seems to have his heart in the right place; he gave a man a box of live hornets, but he did it because the guy had just broken the heart of the woman he loves. I feel like he just isn't educated enough to know why the stuff him and his friends do is wrong, so I have this weird propensity to feel for him. He's my favorite character because unlike the others, he's actually likable.

The entire date scene was great, but the full on rapist part didn't work for me because it's too similar a joke to "anyl-rapist" from Arrested Development.

I see what you mean. I adore Charlie and Mac the most though. D gets annoying at times, her best this season was the road trip episode for sure. Dennis and Frank are funny but def not as likable as Charlie.

I like Dennis, I pretty much like all of them as characters and I love when hate on Dee for no reason :lol .

I'm pretty much like Mac & Dennis in the fact that I don't care what Dee says :lol

Was anyone bummed there wasn't a scene with Dee dumping the dude after his face is all poxed with hornet stings? The earlier seasons were always good at tying up the ending.

And too be fair to the douchebag, Dee and the Waitress are female versions of a douchebag. The entire gang besides Charlie are douchebags and in this show, the douchebags usually get what they deserve.

That is true :p.

That would go against the nature of the show since Dee is never allowed to win.

edit: even though that's a pretty good ending if it wasn't Dee

Yeah, I felt like this episode ended a bit too abruptly. Charlie walking away, smiling, after handing Brad the box of hornets was fun, but I thought there would be more to it.
Still, great episode overall. The whole date scene had me in laughs.

I was like WOW where's the rest? Are they going to do a part 2? It was a pretty abrupt and weird ending to me. Still, great episode.

That's where I figured it was going as well. Now I'm thinking they will save it and use it as a throwaway line later on in the season.

Probably my favorite comedy right now.
