Why should the timeing matter at all either something is funny or it isn't. People make gif's of the titanic sinking and remark to it in relation to something following a similar path. I honestly don't share this idea that if a whole hoarde of people die in a certain accident it's of much more importance than if one person were to die. And therefore a crime to suggest a joke against it. I know a lot of people that have family that were involved in some major event and a lot of them make fun of it. One of my friends is jewish and one of her best friends is a german guy to which she remarks to me on many occations ''I'd never trust him near an oven'' etc. And I laugh. Humour isn't something you can put a guideline on sometimes. I do think a lot of human beings are too conservative on certain issues for their own good. Plus do a lot of you really wake up every morning and think about the families that lost people in attacks like that?. There have been so many world events where do you start?.

Personally I didn't find his post funny but I really don't think it warrants the kind of comments some of you were making against him. Like sick scumbag etc, how do you come to making estimation of a person based on a post he made which as to take the situation and not the people and use for effect.

As likable as Peter Moore is, I can't say I'm unhappy to see him leave.

He just didn't seem to bring much drive to the role, and he certainly hasn't done a great job at positioning Xbox as a global business.

He really only stepped to the forefront early last year after the 360 launch, and since then the business has just been sort of bumping along, without much real sense of direction.

Let's see what this Mattrick fellow can do. I rememer a big deal being made of him coming on board at MS originally, but not much has been heard of him since.

hmm..interesting. I wonder if this coincides with the 360 possibly starting to target the mainstream audience with the rumored price cuts this holdiay season. Maybe MS wasn't willing to take the chance of Moore, who more or less, has only been successful at marketing the 360 as a hardcore gamers console.

I am not sure where you are going with this. If you are talking about some sort of EA exclusivity deal, I cannot imagine a company that would have more to lose by going exclusive then EA. What do you have in mind?
