Los Basteros?

The scene where fassbender accidentally blows his cover is one of the best tarantino moments. The whole leadup to that moment is so fucking tense. And after all that setup for his big mission he just fucking blows it.

Uhhhhhhhhh...

The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) (2008)

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) (1978)

Casino Royale (1967) (2006)

Frankenstein (1931) (2015)

The Longest Yard 1974

The Avengers (1998) (2012)

Dracula (1931) (1979) (1992)

Off the top of my head.

Some of those are remakes or properties in the public domain now.

And I imagine the real title of the 2012 Avengers is "Disney Presents: Marvel's The Avengers" or something silly like that.

Love this movie but I've always watched it with a bunch of friends as something we put on when we just want something in the background while we shoot the shit. I need to watch it for real sometime.

It's just "Marvel's The Avengers", but in the UK where the Avengers classic tv show is more well known, the Marvel movie is called "Avengers Assemble"

Right, the 98 movie is a reboot of the British series.

Maybe that name is only trademarked in the UK so they can use The Avengers in America... but you'd think the 98 movie would have the trademark... so maybe it's legally Marvel's The Avengers but people just ignore the Marvel part when talking about it.

Here's a list of movies titled "The Awakening."

You can name a movie whatever you want. The only reasons you would modify it like with The Avengers (or Inglourious Basterds, for that matter) are marketing related, not trademark or copyright related.

It's spelt that way because that is how Aldo Raine spells it, and it's how he has it etched onto his gun in the film:

not sure how you'd miss that one. It's spelt that way because his character is shit at spelling

I did miss that. Good stuff.

Watching this film in the cinema was a blast. everyone found the "italian" to be hilarious. which of course, it is. Funny how Omar, third best, had the best sounding italian of all three.

Rewatched all of Tarantino's films after seeing the hateful eight. It's shocking and quite sad how you can immediately mark Sally Menke's absence.

I remember watching this for the first time knowing nothing about it and being like WTF just happened?? near the end. Funny shit and an enjoyable watch.
