Lunar was all around happy. The atmosphere is definitely happy. Other factors that contribute to its happiness are the colors and music.

Yeah, nothing like having a theme song that's so ludicrously corny it goes off the scale and circles back around again to actually sound heartfelt.

Jett Rocket for WiiWare, I suggest you familiarize yourself with it if you own a Wii.

Dat freaking smooth music, makes even drilling teeth seem fun and relaxing.

I adore this game, and I have shamefully never played the original FFT. I mean to get around to it, but it just does not seem remotely as enticing as FFTA, everything seems so dull and lifeless, devoid and the cute, bouncy, motivating rhythm that runs throughout this game.

(PS- this song always makes me start going "A veeeerryy merry unbirthday to you...")

Hahaha! That seems almost worthy for the mind blowing thread. But I love Critter Crunch, such a beautiful under-appreciated game. The whole puzzle mechanics could even use a lot of work, but its still always such a feast for the eyes and ears whenever I play.

Wario Land and WarioWare
Pokemon
Animal Crossing
The Sims and Rollercoaster Tycoon
Sonic the Hedgehog (the classic games + the handheld games + Colors)

That's actually a really good choice. I know there were some "serious" moments in the game, but I don't recall ever feeling down or anything other than happy while I was playing.

Breath of Fire 3 had a fun and lighthearted atmosphere that I found incredibly charming. Probably because of the character designs and quirky sequences of events in the story. I guess BOF 4 had the same effect on me at times, but that seemed far more serious overall.

Well I'm glad someone liked the tone of FFTA...

Seriously though, you should check out FFT, it is an incredible game. It's certainly more serious and mature than FFTA but that is one of its strongest points, in my opinion.
