I've never seen such a bad game related product placement

The part that bothered me was that he didn't play God of War Ascencion because there was no PSN connection.
COME ON ITS SINGLE PLAYER,KEVIN!

*2nd season*
Shit I didn't know that game had MP.

"Is that a PSVITA?? I need one of those to play in my car."

You obviously never saw house or entourage were people are playing xbox360 with the controller lights flashing in search or the said console.

This is exactly what I was thinking of when I saw the thread title, ha.

It might not be the worst, but it is what instantly jumped into my mind.

IIRC Heavenly Sword made a brief appearance in an episode of Heroes. It was just a QTE scene, naturally. Two shitty tastes that taste shitty together!

Also, not strictly game-related, but the MS product placement in the first season of Arrow was pretty egregious.

His focus on the PS Vita in that scene was so blatant, i almost choked.

But kevin spacey does a hell of a job, still think he is malcolm from malcolm in the middle, but he stole his brothers name, and followed his parents wishes to become president of the united states. He still talks to the audience, and he is still a genius to a degree.

CW shows have a LOT of product placement.

Yeah that scene is so blatant and shameless, even if it does make sense that Frank would be a gamer.

Prior to that, the most obvious product placement scene I've watched was probably the one from Fringe, where Astrid and Walter try to sell the audience on some new Sprint cell phone.

The How I Met Your Mother product placement for Kinect/360 was the absolute worst because of how depressingly blatant it was. They really gave zero fucks.

I think they sort of took the feedback about that scene and poked fun at themselves in S2 - if anyone knows what I mean.

I knew this would be House of Cards. At least they sort of built it into his character, it being a sort of an uncharacteristic thing he does that his wife finds embarrassing.

The 'I hope you like Stella' from Season 2 followed by the close up of the bottle was worse I think.

I was dead at that Vita scene. I couldn't believe how blatantly out of place it was during the conversation him and Peter were having. I couldn't stop laughing.

to be fair, I didn't understood this one. Stella is consider cheap beer. Is it new in the US ? its advertise in a very cheap way in this scene, who would want this character introducing its product in such way ?

Netflix knows where it's bread is buttered. The Sony PS3 is the most used device for watching Netflix. This is no coincidence.

This was uncomfortably awkward. Spacey- " What games does it have"? Bald dude - "All of them"

What ?

I remembered another, Nintendo 64 with Mario Kart 64 in The Sopranos. Yep. Nintendo and the Italian-american mafia.
Gandolfini didn't know how to hold the controller.

Holy shit that would be amazing

Breaking Bad playing Rage as a light gun game....

yeah.
this takes the cake.

the HoC S2 Scene i found pretty cool, as it was not at all blatant.
You dont see the ps3 itself, you dont see the title of the game and seeing Ascencion is a done game marketing wise its even believable.

I've seen the Halo franchise in a few shows, most notably the Wire.

There was that bootleg Prince of Persia in one of those crime procedural shows.

Just remembered! This one scene from season 2 of True Blood where a middle-aged woman gets possessed or something and the only thing that calms her down is playing on the Nintendo Wii. Not sure what game she was playing though. But it was pretty funny.
