When I watch this, I think Nintendo Direct should be japanese with subtitles instead of Iwata trying to talk english. He look so much more comfortable here.

Or he could hire a vocal coach already. He has no excuse, Kaz Hirai speaks perfect English. Hell, Andrew House's Japanese is more fluent than Iwata's English.

Kaz Hirai's English is the result of a life steeped in multiculturalism. He learned English very young and always spoke it. It's a much different experience than learning a second language later in life.

Did you just call Balloon Fight an "awful game?" It's, like, the most fun pick-up-and-play NES game outside of Super Mario Bros. Quick, responsive, precise, with excellent feedback when popping an enemy balloon, and a strong sense of momentum as you propel yourself across the screen with increasing speed. Even the simple aesthetics hold up: the tropics against a night sky, the bird-men, the goofy-ass fish. And then there's the MUSIC! <3

I consider Balloon Fight a timeless masterpiece. PERHAPS AN APPRECIATION THREAD IS IN ORDER.

Balloon Trip is like crack to me. I must have played the 3DS Ambassador version for 100 hours by now. I almost bought a Wii U solely for Balloon Trip Breeze.
