Did he list his own game there?

Can you blame him? To this day Twisted Metal 2 is incredible.

Did some image scrolling, and discovered some more of that 'Gamers Pad'.

Not much i can say...

I have a maid and she does the best she can. But between me and a 2 year old, by the time she leaves, we have 5-48 hours to mess stuff up again and it don't take long...

I will say that I've been ULTRA amused and surprised by HOW MANY gamers have come down on me for my messy home. I thought all of us gamers were as laid back, casual, and sloppy as me! Who knew there were so many metros playing! Good for you! I wish I could be a metro as I'm sure I'd look alot nicer and stuff but it just seems like SO much work....is it?

David

don't feel bad about a messy room or two. you should see my living room. the only clear path is between the chair and the tv for gaming needs. it turned into a big ass storage area after the tv gig fell through and i did not move.

then with xmas coming and no time to unpack everything was just stacked and left for later.

that's why i have not and will not be posting my gaming set up anytime soon even though it's on a 61 " set up. lol

it's just nasty. by the way, been trying out God of war, story has me compelled to go furher. reminds me of some good old school buttom mashers so far. i do wish there was the option to move the camera and look around, specially in puzzle filled rooms (like when that broad is hanging from the rope and you gotta save her) lol

Bah, you should have said: "I'm too busy designing games to clean... I bet you wish you were me! HAHAHAH"

See, doesn't that sound so much better? Of course it does.

Gahiggidy's Gaming Domain is truly the greatest. You all wish you could tap into the bloodline of the gaming hardcore and recreate such an honest and modern piece of expressionist art.

Sony pays me really really well...I am very well compensated for my time and work. I'm just not going to spend my cash on stuff I don't really need. I would have to say I'm not your typical American consumer in that I don't want/need alot of material stuff. Sometimes I look around at the rampant consumerism that has totally taken over most Americans and- to be honest- it makes me sick....this culture of NEED and WANT and the desire to just acumulate crap because the pretty chick on the tv commercial tells me I need it....I mean, it's cool to have the latest gadgets and stuff but frankly, it's just not that important to me.
Ok, rant over.

But that said, I'm still a slob and THAT is something I SHOULD do something about :)

David

"oh, but the psp is so cool and sexy and I would take one look at it and like *drool*"

whatever dude. clean your house.

Folks only want an overblown setup for two reasons:

1) they're obsessed nerds, and the thought of not experiencing their favorite hobby in the most technologically advanced way possible makes them weep. They might also be compulsive collectors and have to "complete" a specific matrix or configuration they've associated with their hobby -- point is, it's out of their control. They're the crazy duders with the 50" plasma display hanging on the wall of a $400/month apartment, or with the pair of video iPods in the glove box of their parents' '86 Oldsmobile.

2) they want badges of their purported accomplished social accomplishment -- specifically, their wealth or position -- and the best way to have folks acknowledge your presumed status is by having whatever you think folks in your general social circles will envy. Some try to conceal this urge behind the excuse of aesthetics, but the sad truth is they want you to respect and envy them for what they own.

God bless the first folks, because they drive the sales of new technology and make sure companies fight to bring us the latest and greatest. That's why we all have at LEAST Radeon 8500s in our PCs, by and large, instead of 512KB 2D "video accelerators".

God curse the latter folks, because they're the insecure ignoramuses that drive the advertising market, clog up our malls, double-park their environmentally-hostile rides, and generally have all of the ability to make discriminating purchases a meth-baked chihuahua might. Fuck 'em.

I think GoW is overrated, but Jaffe just scored cred points for his song pick. :p

More Than A Feeling ROCKS!! Best song to feel like a badass while playing Guitar Hero.

Respect +100. Seriously, a page out of my own book. I treated myself to a roadster back in '04, but only b/c I'd never had a sports car before, and b/c I LOOOOOOVE cars. But if I was rich, I'd still shop at the dollar store for stuff like ice trays and oven mitts, and I'd still buy $50-60 sneakers and rock free t-shirts with credit card ads on them. Rock on, man. PEACE.

Everybody who takes a shot at the guy for being a slob should be posting a quick photograph of their own surroundings; if they are, in fact, really so much better.

David probably does need to learn to be less sloppy. He's also probably right about the median gamer/geek/nerd being not much different.

This may not (ie. probably not) get answered, but David, I've been dying to ask you about Warhawk PS3 seeing as you've quite the relationship with the guys at Incog.

Are you involved in any manner in the game, or are Scott Campbell and Kellan Hatch running the show again as in the original?

Plus, and I know this one will most definitely not be answered, how's it looking? :D
