a psp jak 4 is better than no jak at all. daxter was a great game and if this would allow ND to get Uncharted 2 and Jak 4 out in the same year, so be it.

I'm sure if its Jak 4 that its for the PS3, no way they would do a main game on an handheld. If its an prequel or an spin off it could be on the PSP. But I'm sure they won't do an big name as Jak 4 on the PSP.

Daxter wasn't bad. It served a purpose, but tried to be more like the original J&D games. I preferred Jak 3.

Jak 3 end the series pretty well, it actually make Jak X looked tacked on because the story takes place after Jak 3. maybe they can make whole new character in Jak universe. maybe playing as Mar? my Jak memory is kinda hazy, but has there been any stories with Mar? I think I remember him as ancient hero or something and Jak is his descendant.

It's a surname. He and his father share it, although there's a large amount of ambiguity still and it could be way off base, but that's the simplest answer in my mind.
