I'm excited for these. I sold my PS2 after I beat Jak and Daxter and I adored that game and have never purchased a console Sony product since.

However, I love my PSP and I've wanted to play LBP for a long time.

Just not enough to buy a PS3.

Okay, tried to put these here earlier, but I had some computer problem or something. Here are some Jak screens I don't think have been posted. They are from a site people don't like on this forum so I put them on Photobucket.

The Daxter gameplay ones look a bit weird. He looks a bit odd all hulked up like that. Anyway, thought these were worth posting.

How's my Molyneux impression?

Each game pushed the limits of the PS2 and raised the bar in the platforming genre that has yet to be topped save for one game.
Putting the franchise in the hands of these jokers dilutes the magic and impact of the original trilogy and is nothing more than a masturbatory cash-grab. It may be "coming" but it isn't very good.

There's only one team that should make these games and that's Naughty Dog. Giving it to anyone else is ridiculous. That's like building an awesome time-travelling DeLorean and handing the keys to Biff Tannen.

Precursor Legacy for PSP would be great. Anyway I loved Daxter so I'm definitely hyped for this even if it's not made by the same developer, I have a good feeling about this.

At the risk of discussing the viability of something in a fantasy videogame... dark eco Daxter doesn't even make sense, he was turned into an ottsel to begin with because of his dark eco exposure.

the ottsel supreme race sort of saved him from the dark eco way back when and chose to transform him into one of them as a great blessing?

In that case, Dark Eco Daxter (hey that has a ring to it!) could make sense.

And I'm looking forward to this now, it certainly lacked polish at E3, here's hoping!

I'm sure they'll have some way to explain the Dark Daxter thing. I guess out there on the Brink the eco is unstable which is why Jak can't go dark in the trailer, so, maybe it has a different effect on Daxter... I don't know. My problem is I hate the way Daxter looks that way and the top-down gameplay screens with the Dark Daxter or wahtever don't look that good. Having said that this is still a Day 1 game for me and I'm looking forward to it. I liked the trailer a lot and think the Jak screens look pretty good. I don't know I'll wait and see about the Daxter secions but I just don't like the look of Daxter like that. It doesn't look as cool as Dark Jak for instance.
