Jakks Pacific creating articulated nintendo toys

Amazon has a ton of playsets as well, is this some other line? They have a ton of "World of Nintendo" toys that are also from Jaxx Pacific as well that aren't talked about at all in this thread

I was thinking about these earlier, would be cool if when they finish with Mario they try a few Zelda sets.

oh man, I can only imagine the perverted memes coming out of this

they look good, but I'm not a fan of articulated action figahs

Are there any opened photos or videos of Mario and Yoshi?

I can't find any anywhere, I guess they're too new.

these are out, but little media for them. They aren't on the toys r us website yet, and the store I went to didn't even have the aisle space for them yet.

I got a few at target and skipped over link, but not much left now.

There is really nothing on these, no sites have them even Jakks Pacific did an overview on their Nintendo stuff a few days ago on YouTube and didn't show or reference the 2" or 4" figures at all.

Here is a good review for Bowser and DK.

I repainted the eyebrows on my Link and it made a HUGE difference on the face.
Went a tad darker and just a bit bigger, I think thats what was really missing.

GAF, is it just Target/Toysrus that have been stocking on the articulated figures from your experience?

And how long do you think they'll ship some more ready for in stores? I have yet to come across Link/Bowser/Donkey Kong. :(

Can you find these online anywhere?
Plush and micro figures are around.

Others are only on Ebay and once in a while up on Amazon.

Target and TRU so far, Jakks said K-mart should be getting them very soon last week.

These aren't the normal collector lines of one shipment and done so you will likely see each Target restock them maybe 2 or 3 more times until a new wave releases(around November if Jakks is competent).
Of course they could do a different case assortment(Wario, more Links, less Mario and Yoshi) which could extend it longer than that.

Ooh thanks!

K-mart, eh? GAME CHANGER

Don't think anyone has spotted them there yet but they responded to someone's email last week(like the day of the first spotting)
saying something like check your K-marts as they were the first to order shipments of the line and should be showing up soon.

My favorite Nintendo figure is the Mario from this series.

I have Joyride Studios versions of Samus, Luigi's Mansion, OoT Link & Epona, but the [not Joyride] MK64 figure is by far my favorite.

I also have Link and Ganondorf from when OoT was originally released. They were pretty crappy quality though.

Let's see what good figures come from Jakk's collection!

ALSO: I've seen Figuarts Mario at Barnes & Noble.

You know after all these years today I found out the 3 pack of figures from OOT are actually different from the single pack OOT Link figure from 1998.
Yup. I remember I was gonna buy it but the store took it back saying it got recalled or something.

There was also a rebate for the Gold version of the game. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Bowser and DK are apparently only at TRU, as Target doesn't have them in the system or a shelf space for them.

these will be so much easier to get if/when they are available to buy online.

isn't Jakks Pacific the company that made the abysmal adventure Time figures.....they were appalling quality! the best/worst example of this is the 6" Jake figure comes with bendy limbs and a replacement large hand (to simulate a larger hand) and if you put it on...it weighs his arm down! the same with Finn, only he has a sword he can't hold

these are fine. The only issues I've had was skipping some with blotchy paint and a few can't stand up on their own.

but these are cheap and meant to be played with by children, if you can even find them to buy.

Only problem I have had so far it Link's eyes were painted a tad high, even looking closely for paint errors it was almost unnoticeable.

i was able to find the mario and yoshi one over the weekend. might go out again today to check for wario, bowser and donkey kong.

My local Target had a restock and had two Link figures. Got that and the last 2" ones I was missing. Now I've got the whole 1-1 line (until 4" Wario comes out).

I checked out 6 more stores yesterday:

Target 1: Nothing, completely picked clean
Toys R Us 1: Found Donkey Kong! :D No shelf tags for him or any of the other figures though.
Target 2: Just had 4-inch Mario.
K-Mart: Nothing - they had shelf tags but nothing in-stock.
Toys R Us 2: Nothing, not even shelf tags yet. They did have the giant Mario Infinitemadness picked up though.
Target 3: Nothing in-stock

I just need Bowser and Link now (and Wario, whenever he becomes available) so hopefully some stores will restock by next week.

Any idea if other stores (such as Wal-Mart or Meijer) will be stocking these??

That sucks dude. Good luck hunting. I thought someone posted that Kmart will be getting these soon. It still boggles my mind that Amazon doesn't have them.

Picked up the larger Jakks Pacific Nintendo figures (Donkey Kong, Bowser, Link and Yoshi) to go with my growing Figuarts/Figma/Smash/whatever collection. Imagine how expensive Figuarts/Figmas of the larger characters like Bowser would be.
If only I could find Figma Link, Samus and Pit for good prices!

Saw this image when these first released and just finally found Midna & Wolf Link for a decent price.

probably buy Zant next and then Zelda if Jakks doesn't make one.
