• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

January and February = two great months for PC releases

And you aren't even listing the one I'm looking forward to most!
(Pillars of Eternity - The White March Part II)
How is The White March storywise? I don't remember reading anything about that expansion. I liked most of the party member storylines in Pillars but the main story was kinda boring and ended poorly.

About the OT list - I already preordered Dragon's Dogma, RE Zero and X-Com 2. I will wait on Tomb Raider as Squenix games prices drop ridiculously fast. Will wait on a few others as well - I have to play some of my Winter Sale purchases first.

Honestly, there's more games I'm interested in January and February than there were during the holiday season last year. A lot of great stuff there. Also
PC is a beast!

Oh, and will get Boy and His Blob at some point too. Heard so much good about it.

I think very little info is out on the second part so far. Probably more info will come once we get closer to the release.

The first part is very story light and focuses more on combat and dungeon crawling.

Preordered Dragons Dogma last year and got Symphonia from Zestiria already. Considering I plan to play TitS SC this year too (and probably get God Eater if the port looks good), it looks like I've already got enough for the entirety of 2016 and the year hasn't even started.

Damn.

I'd add Oxenfree, The Deadly Tower of Monsters (ACE team's latest), possibly Bombshell to Jan.

To Feb I'd add Dying Light: The Following, Garden Warfare 2, Walking Dead Michonne, and Disgaea

Holy shit lol.
I have like 10 games that I want to play on that list. 10 games in 2 months seems impossible for me.

Anyway, if you add mmo to the list:
- Blade & Soul open beta
- Black Desert closed beta

Dragon's Dogma (pre-ordered)
Rise of the Tomb Raider
XCOM 2
Firewatch
Street Fighter 5

Although these are the games that I want, probably wont buy them until a deep sale except for SF5. The backlog is ridiculous, will pick up RE0 HD and Darkest Dungeon on PS4 tho

If Stellaris makes the Feb 2016 release date, I'll be putting all of those (except WM Part2) aside.

Wait, Stellaris has a projected Feb. release date?

Good grief, now I'm really dead.

Just not enough time in the day!

I think it's time to buy a MegaBucks ticket so I can free up some time.

in before I never heard any of these I only play AAA comments from the people who live in bizzaro world.

First two months looking good. Especially with Tides of Numenera finally seeing the light.

For january alone I want:

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (someday)
Resident Evil Zero HD - 19th
The Witness - 26th
Slain - 27th
Rise of the Tomb Raider - 28th

Yeah the first months this year are brutal

Feb seems like a good month to take some vacation time. I cannot remember a short span like this so packed with big releases ever.

In 100% for DD, Xcom 2, TR, POE xpac and Bombshell since I like the studio.

Depending on impressions for Slain, Witness, Unravel, Firewatch, Homeworld, Garden Warfare2.

Stellaris can wait for summer, need like a dedicated month for that shit.

It's not open beta though, it's full release. Releases January 19th, headstart on the 15th if you preorder.

Black Desert is the one that's entering beta only and will release later on. Although it's closed beta, so technically neither is in open beta.

Wow, I can see myself buying almost all of those, at least after discount. I already backed That Dragon, Cancer so might give that a go when I get back home in two weeks. Did also back Torment:ToN but will opt out of the beta. If time before Firewatch I might try to squeeze in The Witness.

Firewatch and Street Fighter for me. Then my PS4 will get some love with R&C and Uncharted. Looking forward to all of it.

The Truck Simulator games always amuse me.

Do people play them ironically or are they actually enjoying them?

The Nicholas Cage of games...

And I start busy season at the end of this month, huzzah! Should keep my wallet in check.

Kinda off topic, but how is this pronounced? Is this literally "WHO-ZAH" as in that is how he is saying it, or is it said some other way? Also, what does this mean in the way he used it?

Yessssss. Delicious months for the Personal Computer Entertainment System.

I'll even go off-topic and point out Dark Souls 3 coming in march.

It's Huh-zah.

It's a nerdy way of saying hooray, though the poster was being sarcastic so it's like a nerdy, sarcastic hooray in this case.

Nothing interests me from that list except for Resident Evil 0; but I'd rather pick it up during a steam sale.

I'm only looking forward to Witcher 3 Blood and Wine and Hearts of Iron IV.

no links in op =(

Here, this may help: vgReleaseList.com

It's been a side project of mine for a while, as I was having a hard time tracking when and where everything's coming out.

Thus, a site that only lists confirmed dates and links directly to the source and / or store.

Probably gonna pick up XCOM 2 and Firewatch at the very least. Screw my not-quite-recommended GPU. But oh boy, The Witness is releasing now? I'm definitely feeling that too.

Definitely picking up tomb raider.

Might wait on Homeworld and Xcom until I get my Surface Book. (Providing the Ultimate Tier SB can run these games at acceptable levels)
