Japanese Porn Star is Featured in New Nintendo Switch exclusive: Oshiete Onedari Shogi (Parent walk-in mode included)

Switch exclusive Oshiete Onedari Shogi (Teach Me Japanese Chess Pretty Please) has players give shogi hints and tips to adult video actress Airi Satou as well as cosplayers Yui Uno and Inori Hanamiya. For a reward, players get photos and clips of them in bikinis, maid outfits and more.
In total, there are over 1,300 photos and over thirty clips, including DLC.
While there is no nudity (the game is rated Cero D, which is 17 years old and up), the digital-only game does have a panic screen that it’s calling “Mama ga kita moodo” (Mom Showed Up Mode) in case the player’s mother walks in. (demonstrated in animation below)

The game’s promotional trailer does not introduce Satou as an adult video actress (her official Twitter does), instead calling her, “Your 2.5-dimensional sister.

Well this news is heavy contrast in comparison to the Dead or Alive 6 one that's for sure. I find it hilarious there's actually a button (click the article link to see the animation for it) that the player can press to switch off "porn mode" when the parent walks in.

Also not sure what Nintendos doing with their store, i guess they are influenced by Steam Greenlight.

Maybe they'll even release it in the west like those 3 pure / electric love games despite having no English translation. 0o

1 of every 10 women in Japan has been in porn (this is true). If Japan starts shying away from porn actresses, their talent pool is going to be 10% smaller.

cool, some new small market anime game that will be used as the lynchpin for a new round of how SONY IS TAKING OUR GAMES AWAY FROM US here.

Likely she went into a tea shop and some developer was there and figured for 50 yen he could get some rated Pg-13 pics.

Likely limited career choices. Not to mention things are so overcrowded that some of those pics may have been gotten without her even knowing.

You have a reference for where you get this data from?

edit: only article I find speaks of 1 in 200, which is VERY different from 1 in 10.
You're right. It's 1 in 200 nationwide as per this GQ article (which is probably referencing the same Japanese article). I should've double checked the number before my shitpost. And it is different from 1 in 10... but it's still a pretty fucking huge number.

Though think about it. 1 in 200 women is roughly 1 in 400 of the total population. Transgenderism is estimated to be 1 in 500. That means that Japan has more porn actresses than transgender people, and we create all sorts of laws to protect those guys from discrimination.

Japan excepted Transgenders before the fake science blogs came out just because it was a good distraction to the populace. In fact, that was more accepted than Homosexuality was.

Do you guys have to bring some form of virtue signalling or cramming something trans / gay whatever into every damn thread?

Can’t wait to see the Kotaku, Polygon, etc reviews about Nintendo’s next big hit exclusive.

Nah, every country has their share of “weird, creepy pervs” nice generalization though.

Please Japan, never stop delivering. I have to visit there before I die.

Please put me in this game show while you're at it.

Weird part is that I'd probably buy this (shitty) game, just because it looks like a decent way to learn shogi.

Bless Nintendo for having the proper set of balls that seem to be missing from another Japanese corporation, that shall not be named.

What are you talking about? I was making the point that there are a lot of Japanese porn actresses, which are treated with disrespect and scorn by their society and by people in this thread, despite the fact that there are more of them than other minority groups which we take special care to not offend and make laws protecting them. There are a LOT of Japanese porn actresses - almost 6,000 new ones per year (see the article I linked previously). If we don't respect them, then I don't see what the point is of pretending to respect anybody else.
